Jamie Rating: 5 | I LOVE the Flip diapering system. We have been using them with the Stay Dry inserts for about a month or so and haven't had any leaks yet.
My favorite thing about them is that you can re-use the cover and just change the insert with the wet diapers. In a day we typically go back and forth between two covers, alternating at each change so that they have a chance to dry out between uses. I also love that the fabric of the covers is stretchy.
This cover also works great with prefolds.
Be SURE to use one of the detergents that Cotton Babies recommends though because other detergents will leave residue in the diapers which causes them to stink, and "stripping" the diapers is no fun.

Charity Rating: 5 | I REALLY like this system I bought two day packs to start then ordered three more covers because as easy as they are to wipe out they still have a tendency to smell even noticed after three washings they still hold the smells but nothing a couple more washings can't take care of plus a day in the sun. While the organic insert is soft it is also bulky but it really is absorbent so I can deal with the bulkiness I think I will really love this when my baby (who is a year) is a bit bigger. For now I find my indian pre-folds fit my baby better in this cover less bulk. All in all it was a superb purchase I am super happy with it.

Mary Rating: 5 | These diaper covers are the best I've seen. They are good quality and hold up well to abuse. I use mine with chinese prefolds and I have not had any leaks. The snaps are easy to use and the fit is wonderful. My daughter is long and slender, so I had trouble with both disposable diapers and all-in-one/pocket cloth diapers. Neither fit her well in the waist and legs. The prefolds can easily be adjusted to fit around smaller legs and these covers adjust perfectly to her waist. These covers have elastic and the PUL is soft to the touch, so they are very comfortable for my daughter to wear and don't leave marks on her skin like dispoables do. I wash my covers in with the prefolds and then let the covers drip dry while I tumble dry the prefolds. Since they don't absorb the water, the covers dry quickly. I have six covers total, but I rarely use more than four before it is time to do a load of prefolds. I'll be ordering the larger size prefolds soon, but these covers will grow with my daughter all the way to potty training and I'm confident that they will last.

Maria Rating: 5 | This is a great "starter" pack for beginning cloth diapering! I have tried several other brands, but the flips are my favorite! They just make it so easy!
Angela Rating: 5 | I just wanted to add that even though I put a prefold over these during the day or a sheer cotton cloth for extra absortion - that the insert is so absorbent that it pulls the wetness into it and the baby still has a stay dry feeling. I am so glad to have stay dry inserts in my stash and can't recommend them enough.
Danna Rating: 5 | I love the Flip! I mostly use it when we are out running errands because they take up less space in the diaper bag. No problems with leaking or staining. They do seem to bunch a little bit, but it hasn't been a problem. I guess my only thing would be the snaps with really wiggly babies. It can be a challenge to snap the diaper at times, but overall I am satisfied with the Flip.
Angela Rating: 5 | Love Love Love these. If you try anything try the flip.
Angela Rating: 5 | These are wonderful. They really do have a stay dry feel to them. I use cheap Walmart cotton prefolds over them to keep them looking new and for extra absorbtion and there are no leaks. My son is a heavy wetter and so I would recommend a cotton prefold with them if your baby is too because the cotton is so breathable. I also noticed that sometimes the stay dry inserts are so good at keeping baby dry that it would chafe against his skin and it would get a little red - but the cotton prefold over fixed that. I read some other reviews that people noticed a smell to them after a while. I haven't noticed a smell to these inserts after almost 5 months and I think its because I wash them everyday.
Candice Rating: 5 | These are my favorite inserts ever! I recently tried a couple out because my Daughter was having rash problems with her stay dry inserts. I wish I had started out with just the organic instead! They are fantastic as a night time diaper, more absorbent than anything else I've tried, and they are super soft against her skin. I'd highly recommend this product!

Carrie Rating: 5 | I think I would have given up on cloth diapering were it not for these covers! I bought a selection of cloth diaper covers from a local store, and after washing them per instructions they were in horrible shape! Plus, even though I bought according to size they were WAY too tight on my son's body - they left red irritation marks on his waist and legs. So I ordered two of the Flip covers just to see if they would work and oh my goodness do they ever! He's still a newborn, so they're a little poufy on his heinie, but I've only had one leak out the legholes and that was a particularly explosive poop. I'm even just using regular flat-fold diapers (the ones I had bought to use with the other covers) as inserts, and they work just fine. So tonight I ordered three more of these covers, because my husband and I just love them! The only complaint I have is the washing instructions: they say not to use any additives at all, which means I have to wash these separately from all other laundry. Even in baby clothes I add borax and a little tiny bit of fabric softener. So these are a handwash or small cycle alone item. Still, it's worth it! If we go on a long plane ride, I'll order the disposable inserts, as well - what a great idea!

Nichole Rating: 5 | Just got these because my OS3.0s were leaking at night and I had a coupon.
These are the best snaps for containing leaks ( we had belly leaks of pee by morning with the velcro in the OS ). This only started recently as he is in between sizes. The flips are so stretchy for attaching the snaps, that we get a nice tight fit.... my husband even got it right! voila, no leaks this week!
Then the organic inserts are the softest things ever! He half fills them by morning compared to fully soaked OS3.0s with both inserts. I also figure I can fold a newborn microfiber inside of the organic insert if he does fill it up, but so far, no stuffing necessary.
I highly recommend trying this out. Also, explosive poop this morning did get on the cover, so if we were using these as our daytime dipe, I would have extra covers. For just pee, reuse of the cover is a breeze. These are our night time dipes and our OS 3.0 are the daytime ( because I have more and they work great for that! ) I might even buy one more set as they are pretty cost effective and to fill out our stash ( since I missed the dollar dipe sale !)

Kate Rating: 5 | We love our flip diapers! I am new to cloth diapering and the flip system is definitely a good way to transition from disposables. These covers are amazing and we have yet to spring a leak, no matter what's underneath them!! I have found that for my kids (14 lb 3 month old and 30 lb 2 year old), I prefer to use prefolds instead of the flip inserts. I have infant size chinese prefolds that I use for my baby (trifolded and then folded down in the front) and sometimes for my toddler (just trifolded... they are the prefect size for the large setting without folding). I use regular size indian prefolds for my toddler (more absorbent!! trifolded and then folded down in front). I have found that the prefolds have less tendency to slide around in the cover than the flip inserts. With my toddler, using the bigger size prefold fills the cover a bit better which means that poop stays on the prefold instead of smearing onto the cover as it tends to do with a flip insert. I do like that the inserts stay dry on top, which is nice for my kiddos sensitive skin, but we've found that prefolds tend to be more absorbent.

Tricia Rating: 5 | I decided to give these a try since I had a coupon and didn't need to add to what I already had (BG bamboo, Fuzzibunz, kissaluv fitteds, various waterproof covers and flat diapers).
Wow. I love this system. For me this has all the plusses of the pocket diaper without the hassle and the drawbacks.
Plusses being: You don't have to fasten a diaper AND a cover adding bulk. The clever waterproof flaps hold the absorbent material in place. I have a child with solid stools at this point - so I don't know how it would do on those early BF poos, but I have yet to find a diaper(Cloth or disposable) that didn't occasionally leak those early BF poos.
For me the drawbacks of a pocket system is that you have to stuff and use a new cover each time. That adds up cost pretty fast. Not so with these covers - they can be wiped out and reused.
Some people are not crazy about microfiber on baby skin (me included at times) but I also have successfully used these covers with birdseye flat diapers. Flat diapers are cheap and dry fast (also saving money). I have also stuffed this cover with a prefold. Because it is a one-size cover - you may not get away with stuffing it with bulkier cotton on a larger child, instead of microfiber.
I just love the engineering of this diaper cover. They have also included an extra layer waterproof material in the snap area to make it more sturdy and durable.

Sarah Rating: 5 | I wrote a review about the cover, and now I thought I'd review the cover and insert together. This is by far my favorite diaper. I have tried BGs, Fuzzibunz, and prefolds with many different covers. These don't leak, they are very trim fitting, the colors are super cute and the cover dries very quickly (within 2-3 hours). I also love the double row of snaps, it holds the diaper in place and gives it a very nice look on the outside. We just started cloth diapering about 3 months ago, and my husband said to me the other day (he is not a huge fan of Cding) "When we buy more cloth diapers, you're going to buy more Flips, so I'll only have to use those, right?" So, that tells you how easy and simple this system is! The only downside is there's no purple, and no prints! Please bring more colors (purple!) and some fun prints Cotton Babies! Thanx for making such a great product!

Nancy Rating: 5 | I thought I would try these after being a dedicated bum genius user for 2 yrs. I bought one Flip Diaper and insert to try. I have a heavy wetting 3 yr old who isn't pt'd yet...and no leaks whatsoever! I even tried it with some left over gdiaper flushable inserts, and that worked awesome as well! I like that they are trimmer fitting and easier to pack up then my bGs, so they may end up being (as soon as I order more) my 'diaper bag' dipes!

Marcia Rating: 5 | Easy to use and wash. The baby really does stay dry! Does not leak. Soft on baby's skin.
Marcia Rating: 5 | Very comfortable. Adjusts to fit baby. Does not leak. Looks nice on.

Alicia Rating: 5 | I have now given CD's a try for a couple of months. I decided to go with Flip based on the reviews and the snaps. I have two boys 2 1/2 years and 9 months. Blessed with children that actually eat a lot of veggies I was concerned that cloth diapers just wouldn't hold up against the explosions that come from a well fibered diet. My first purchase was organic as my eldest son has extremely sensitive skin. After the pre-wash and a couple days of getting the hang of it I found the flips to be easy to use, wash and dry. Many times the poop just simply got on the cover and not the clothes, thus I bought some extra covers. At first I was a little taken-a-back at how the organic inserts got hard and were quite bulky, but I found a little extra detergent fixed that problem (I was probably using too little in the first place). Tonight was the test however. My 9 month old had an explosion that was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I was caught without supplies; unable to return home. The poop was just about coming out of the cover. Due to circumstances beyond my control my son had to wait to have his diaper changed for three hours. The poop never escaped the cover, the insert was drenched but no leak! On top of it, my son had absolutely not rash from having to sit in it for hours, with a synthetic I would have been nursing a rash for four days, we are talking blisters. Thank you Cotton Babies!

Julianne Rating: 5 | I love the Flip system! This was a newbie for me with this baby, as with my son I solely used BG, but I liked the idea of adding these in since the covers can be reused throughout the day. They are marvelous. They don't leak at all, they stay fitted nicely and are all around a wonderful addition to the diaper stash. My only suggestion is that you would really need to have about 4 covers at least for one day's entire use in the event a little bit of poo or urine gets on the area around the leg gussets. You can't wipe that off and let it air dry to reuse if that happens, so only depending on 2 for a day doesn't really work.
Emily Rating: 5 | I LOVE these diapers!! My son doesn't leak through like he did with other cloth diapers! These are so easy on the go too! I love that they have the disposable option too if you are traveling. Such a great diaper for the price! I will be buying more today!! I have been using these for about 3 months now! Still work great! I love cotton babies!! Thank you for making diapering affordable!!! The shipping was SOOO fast too!!!! Wonderful company!!

Jenna Rating: 5 | We started cloth diapering when baby was 4 months old and have been using Flips exclusively. I started with one cover/insert to try then ordered 2 day packs. I wash every other day and that amount is plenty. Baby is breast fed and usually poops twice a day. It is rare that poop is contained to just the insert, but we have never had a leak outside the cover. My husband was shocked at how leak-proof Flips are! I use a Hemp Babies doubler with one insert at night and baby's bottom is dry in the morning. Can't wait for the new colors to come out this fall! Hope to see the disposable inserts for sale soon as I have not tried them yet.

Johnna Rating: 5 | Our daughter was seven months old when we decided to try cloth diapers for the first time, so it was very important to us to find a system that was approachable. It was especially important to my husband! After much research we decided on the Flip system and we are not disappointed. The Stay-Dry inserts never leave her skin wet and have never leaked, even when she has a heavy wetting day and soaks them through. She was having occasional rash with disposables that clears right up when wearing Flip Stay-Dry. Our daughter is very skinny but we have no trouble adjusting the diapers to fit her and they are not overly bulky. I love that she can tug and pull at the snaps and they remain firmly closed- this was a big deal, because she was starting to pull the tabs open on disposables. If I have any complaint it is that sometimes when the insert is heavily soaked the serging at the edges of the flaps feels damp, but more often than not I change the diaper before this has a chance to happen. We will soon be trying the cotton inserts for overnight but we are so pleased with the Stay-Dry inserts that they will likely be the bulk of our stash. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a baby like mine- sensitive, skinny, and on the move. No rash, low bulk, no leaks!

Cheri Rating: 5 | I bought one of these over the weekend to try at night because my little guy has been leaking and I was pleasantly suprised! I wasn't sure about the product when I looked at it (well made product, just unique), but I figured I'd give it a shot. I used the insert that comes with the diaper and added a hemp babies doubler and my guy woke up with no leaks (which hasn't happened in cloth diapers for a couple months now). He was in the diaper the entire night which is about 12 hours. I am impressed. As long as he didn't have a messy poo, I'm convinced he could have wore the same cover all day with just a change in the inserts. How cool. Thanks Cotton Babies!
Julie Rating: 5 | I LOVE my Flips! I use them with stay-dry inserts, organic inserts, the Econobum prefolds, Kissaluvs contours, and fitted diapers and they just work great with everything! They snap up for a trim fit on my skinny little guy who just switched to the medium rise because of his long torso rather than his weight. I love that my sister who poo-poos cloth diapers (no pun intended) because of bulk can not tell the difference between disposable and cloth when my baby is wearing a Flip! I can't seem to stain them and have had no leaks. I also love the colors (I have ribbit and moonbeam)! Can't say enough good about this cover. If this was the first cover I had bought, it would be the only kind I would own!
Lisa Rating: 5 | When I received my Flip cover, I was totally unimpressed. I have been using Bummis and Thirsties covers, but everyone raves about the Flips so I decided to give them a try. However, after giving it a shot with my prefolds, I was sold. They say that you can tri-fold a prefold into the other brands of covers, but they shift around and poop gets everywhere so I end up using a snappi. In this case, I really can just tri-fold the prefold and tuck it under the flaps. The inserts are expensive, but I will continue to use this cover with my prefolds, and probably purchase more as well!

Priscilla Rating: 5 | We have been using BG diapers since our daughter was a newborn. We love our 3.0s and BG Organic AIOs, but when we tried the Flip with the stay dry insert it didn't seem to absorb enough for our super-heavy wetter (our daughter is seriously a super-wetter!). I loved the cover though and was advised to try the organic inserts because of their absorbency. We ordered the day pack and LOVE them! Our daughter has worn this diaper longer than any other without leaks and the soft organic cotton is just perfect for her really sensitive skin. This diaper is fast becoming a favorite in our house! If you have a heavy wetter, I would really suggest this diaper. The leg gussets are great and the fit is perfect for a chubbier baby. I love this company and how they always seek to create the best products and please their customers. Great product!
Rachel Rating: 5 | I love these diaper covers! When my LO was small, I didn't like them nearly as much, Thirsties worked better. But I'd say since LO turned about 3 months old, these are GREAT! I use them with a prefold laid inside, and a Bummis Biosoft liner on top of that. We switch back and forth between two covers all day until LO poops, then we usually need to change the cover. For pee, just air drying the damp cover is enough. These are our favorites now! LO is about 17 pounds now. When paired with a prefold, very economical too. I would guess we have about 8 covers and about 40 prefolds, and I do diapers about twice a week.
Morgana Rating: 5 | I love these! I've been using prefolds and thirsty covers, which I love, but now these covers are my favorite. They fit so trim. Not bulky at all. I fold up my prefolds and put in the cover and they work great. I love love love the organic cotton insert as well. It is so absorbant and super soft.
BONNIE Rating: 5 | Soft, absorbent, great for nap/bedtime or day use for an older baby.
Kaeli Rating: 5 | I absolutely LOVE these covers. They fit my skinny minnie really well and I have not had any leaks with them. I use premium prefolds under them for poopy diapers & the stay dry inserts for pee. The inserts are bad for poop, they bunch up and poop gets on the cover, but the inserts are fantastic for pee.
Elisia Rating: 5 | I did a lot of research when I decided to CD my first child. I found the flip diapers through my research and decided to give them a try. They are the best diaper for your money. They are a very convenient diapering system to use and very economical. The covers are very well made, and made to last. The inserts are great too. They are very absorbent and wash really well. I also love the fact that you can reuse the covers and just change the inserts. These are the only diapers my husband will use when he changes our daughter since he doesn't have to touch the dirty insert. One flip day pack will pretty much last you for a whole day, even if you have a poop diaper!
Sarah Rating: 5 | After much research on how to cloth diaper our first child, we chose the Flip, and we have not been disappointed! When we received the first day pack we ordered, I was skeptical that the diapers would fit a newborn. At 3.5 weeks, our little guy was just over 8 pounds...probably skewing more to the long and skinny variety. The diapers fit perfectly! He seems really comfortable in them, and we haven't had any leaks--even with breastfed newborn BMs. For the money, this has been a terrific system for us!
Kelli Rating: 5 | i cloth diaper 2 kids, (once is potty training right now) and i LOVE these covers!!! i have tried a few and these really are amazing!!! i use my own premium prefolds in these and they have no leaks, even over night!!! GREAT GREAT GREAT product!!!!
Jenna Rating: 5 | I've been using Flip diapers for several weeks now on my 2 year old and love everything about them! I tried cloth diapering my older son when he was a baby and it was a complete disaster - I couldn't figure out how to get the diapers to stop leaking, I hated fishing the inserts out of the pocket diapers, they were so bulky. Everything that I disliked in my first experience, I have not had a single problem with using the Flips! The fit is great on my thin little boy, I have had no leaking - even overnight (we do double up the inserts), the diapers are nice and trim, and the genius of being able to "Flip" out the insert! I would totally recommend these to anyone who wants to give cloth diapering a try (in fact I already have!) - they are just a fraction off from being as easy as disposable (since you have to wash them). I have plans to use these on my baby due in October!
Lauren Rating: 5 | Great covers! Very thin and leakproof. I use them with prefolds and fitteds, and they're wonderful!
Lindsey Rating: 5 | We have been using the Flip system for about 6 weeks now and have really liked that we changed to cloth diapering! We started my son was 9 months old and I plan to use these again when I have more children. It is simple to use, launder, and carry. I really like the look of the product as well. Since it is summer, he usually wears a t-shirt and diaper while we are at home. We haven't had any daytime leaks even with some runny poop, but we have had some overnight leaks. I have purchased a few BumGenius 3.0 diapers for overnight now and have even used the flip cover with the one size insert sock and a prefold. I really have enjoyed cloth diapering with this product!
Annabelle Rating: 5 | I have a 5 month old daughter who I love to use these on and she has never had a leak despite her skinny legs. I also babysit an 8 month old who this past week she had massive diarrhea blowouts that got on EVERYTHING! I got tired of changing her clothes and cleaning the mess so I just put one of the flip covers over her disposables and it did the trick! All the poop was contained and easily cleaned!
Brittany Rating: 5 | I purchased these covers for my son. He is two years old, tall and 35 lbs. I wasn't sure if they would fit but they do! He still has room to grow into them as well. I purchased prefolds instead of the flip inserts purely for economical purposes. So far we haven't had a single leak, poop stays in the prefolds and they dry so fast you can give the cover a rinse in between changings and it will be dry in time for the next go 'round. My son is a very active supersoaker so anything that can keep up with him is an A+++ in my book! Having just converted from disposables to cloth, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made, and my boy loves them too.
Jennifer Rating: 5 | My husband and I love this diaper. We have used it since our baby was two months old and 12 pounds (he is now four months) but we could have used it earlier I'm sure because at that point we did not have it on the smallest size setting. We have never had a pee leak and have only had one poo leak, and I believe that was due to the fact that I attempted to snap the diaper on the next larger size from the one we usually use. Even though we only use a disposable about once every day or two when we run out of clean inserts, we have had quite a few poo blowouts with them. The flips are so easy to use, even in the dark at night and with a squirming infant. The covers and inserts are very high quality, and come clean with regular Dreft detergent on a normal wash and dry cycle. Lately I have seen some pale staining, but I do not soak or stain treat the poo diapers, so I am not surprised. All in all, great diaper system. Highly recommended!!
Kimberlee Rating: 5 | I purchased these months ago before my son was born. When I received them I thought NO WAY would they work, I was completely non impressed.
My son is two weeks old. He weighed 8.6lbs when he was born and they are AWESOME. I use them with the indian prefolds and a snappi (highly recommend one of those too). I have not used the disposable inserts yet, so can not comment on those. But the wraps are great. I purchased 4 wraps and it is plenty so far for the day and night. they wash and dry quickly.
I honestly get more leaks with disposable diapers than I do with these wraps. This is my fourth child and third being cloth diapered. I highly reccomend this product.
The only thing I did not like was the company claims it is USA made product and they are actually manufactured overseas.

Jayme Rating: 5 | I AM IN LOVE!!! I have been searching and searching for something that would fit my 2 year old boy without being super bulky and these are absolutely perfect!! We've been using the bumgenius AIO organics and absolutely love those (my husband won't use anything else) but they were starting to feel super tight on my 2 year old. He's 31 lbs. I was reluctant to get these because I thought I might have the same problem seeing as the outer cover is comparably the same as the AIO's. I called Cotton Babies to ask their opinion and she said these would fit a lot better. Can I just say... I am so excited because he's actually on the medium rise setting which is fantastic when we still have probably another year of diapers with him. Plus, they are soooooo trim!! And stay dry is the way to go... we pair it with a thirsties hemp doubler at night and he is good to go and it's not super bulky. Thanks so much Cotton Babies... love your products!!
Francesca Rating: 5 | Awesome diapers! We purchased one Organic Day Pack to complete our stash of diapers. Our stash otherwise consists of the BG Organic All-in-Ones, which mostly were given to us as gifts. We LOVELOVELOVE the BG Organics, but the Flip are really great, too. The organic cotton is so soft-- that alone will make you so excited to put this over your baby's little tushy! These are a cross between a standard prefold-cover system, and the BG Organic AIO. This diaper has so many advantages: great price point, it grows with your baby, super absorbent, as we never have leaks! Plus, fun colors, super-soft cotton, and huge cost-savings by not buying disposables!
Pamela Rating: 5 | I LOVE these and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! We live have to pay to do our laundry, and we really needed something like the flip cover that can be wiped clean between uses for pee diapers. I just ordered some flat folds to put in them, and they are super trim! I did notice that the newer colors seem to be of slightly better quality than the original ones I bought when they first came out, so that was also good to see! I've never had any "messes" come out of these diapers like they often do with the disposables... I'm so glad to not have to worry about our baby's super messes ruining his outfits!
Rachel Rating: 5 | I have been using these diapers for almost a month, have washed them several times, and have used them in a variety of situations. I find them easy to use and very effective (even DH is able to change these). I decided to move to cloth diapers from disposables after realizing how much waste we were creating and having problems with the new Pamper's dry max. Luckily we have a good cloth diaper store in the Detroit area (No Pins Required) and we were advised to try a few different brands. After trying three different lines we went back to buy more Flips. The covers were the highest quality we used and super absorbent. We use the stay dry during the day and have had no leaks and we use the organic at night with a thin fleece liner (to wick away moisture) and have not had a leak with these either and DS sleeps 12 hours a night. At first I did not think I would like one size diapers, but I am sold. These diapers are great.
Tracey Rating: 5 | great insert!
this fits perfectly in an xs thirsties cover but is VERY bulky. it is great for nighttime dressing but during the day it is too bulky for a newborn.
I think this insert is very absorbant & do not regret purchasing 6 of these. they are super easy to wash. they take a while to dry but are worth it!
one other thing I love about this compared to a prefold is that it does not shift around like a prefold does.
Curtis Rating: 5 | LOVE the flip. Great diaper. You do have to switch covers if your baby poops because it gets on the cover with this insert. Not really too much of a problem. This insert makes this diaper trim.
Don't worry about the microfiber stinky. I tried stripping with Dawn, Baking soda, vinegar, etc. Still kinda ehe... Switched to Rockin Green and that eliminated that problem. I was using prefolds instead of this insert because I couldn't get the smell to go away. Now, I get to use the insert again. Good because its summer now. Prefolds are thick and hot. Oh and I was trifolding them instead of snappi-ing. Easier and works well with this cover.
Curtis Rating: 5 | Really love how absorbent the insert is. Washes clean pretty easy as compared to the staydry inserts. Bulky compared to the other insert though. Flip cover is consistantly AMAZING. I have AIO's, 3.0's, Econo's, Super whisper covers, and flips. Flips are the most used. Amazing Amazing.
Also- My itty bitty skinny mini daughter fits in them as well as my friend's kid who is 2. (She ran out of pull ups while visiting. She is now potty training with cloth! Score, another mom turned) They def. are one size.
Virginia Rating: 5 | I really love these. I love the fact that they are organic. They are super soft and absorb so well, never had a leak at all. These are more bulky than the stay dry insert. They also work great in other covers
Virginia Rating: 5 | I love these inserts. I have 7 of them and they get used every day. I have not had any problems with EBF poop getting off the insert and onto the covers. These are more trim than the FLIP organic or a regular prefold. I have had no stink issues at all!
Jenelle Rating: 5 | So happy I went with the Flip System. I was completely new to CDs and decided I would try with my second child. I have been using the Flip System since my daughter was two weeks old and I couldn't be happier. No leaks ever; I was shocked to realize they are way better than disposables. Inexpensive set up compared to other systems; I can't tell you how much money this is saving me. My daughter is 20 lbs and 6 months old and we still have a ton of room before she outgrows them. I bought 3 covers and 14 inserts and it was plenty. They come completely clean in the wash and I didn't have to rinse them until she started solids and now I just dump the bm and wash them. Anyone can use this system!

Liz Rating: 5 | We bought two of these plus an extra cover and so far we really like them although we are probably going to have to switch because they are irritating my son's skin on his belly. He's been in them for almost two weeks and has developed this red bumpy heat rash looking rash. These covers and inserts work great, we've never had leaks - even at night. We just double the inserts at night and he wakes up with dry clothes and bedding every morning. I would highly recommend these diapers. I think my son is just sensitive to synthetics.

Abby Rating: 5 | I have cloth diapered with three kids for over 6 years, and this is the first time I have truly been able to say that I am saving money cloth diapering!
We've tried pockets (hate stuffing, hate pulling insert out of poo diapers, hate leaks and repelling). We've tried prefolds and covers (every cover seems to leave red marks on thighs, and my latest babe is a heavy wetter for whom prefolds are not enough). We've tried fitteds (stink issues, and too expensive). We've tried wool (leaks, and too expensive). We've tried AIOs, both organic and microfleece (too long in the drier, couldn't get them stink-free).
Finally, FINALLY, a system that we love! We've now been using them for two weeks and I could not be happier. We're diapering a 3 year old overnight and a 2 month old all the time. FLIP works for both. Even the 2 month old could go all night in the same diaper, though we usually change her anyway.
I will say, the organic inserts are a little bulky for our 12 lb baby. I prefer the stay-dry inserts. The cover is great, trim, and gentle on the skin. We now own 6 day packs, for a total of 12 covers, 36 inserts and about $275 after discount code. It has been perfection so far!

Melissa Rating: 5 | I love love love these diapers! I purchased the flip system as well as the econobum and prefolds with wraps and I'm completely satisfied with all of them! I use the flip during the day when I go out since they seem to last longer because my baby doesn't feel the wetness. The econobum and prefolds I use the rest of the time and with each system I haven't had a single leak! I cloth diapered my 2nd child and hated it. I used kushies all in one diapers...they broke down so incredibly fast from the frequent washes and held some odor. I love cloth diapering now with my flips, econobums and prefolds! I wish I knew more moms that were willing to try because I would totally recommend these!
Chelsea Rating: 5 | I love my flip cover. I got one just to try it, because everyone raves about them. It's so easy to use, and we've never had a leak with the Flip cover. We're even switching from normal disposables to Flip disposables for going out because Flips work SO well, and they're much cuter. I would love a purple (even though I have a boy, hehe) and a Clementine color, and maybe a tie-dye. Also sometimes there's some weird-looking "stretching" around the snaps (doesn't look nearly as smooth as the pictures of Flips), but not enough to give the Flip any less than five stars, especially since it doesn't affect function in the slightest. Oh and like others, I love how trim the Flips are. Great diaper. The covers are more than I really like to spend for a cover, but they're pretty well worth it.
Sarah Rating: 5 | I looove the flip diaper covers! They are very thin and trim, esp when paired with a bum genius insert. I put the Bum Genius insert into one of the fleece socks (in the diaper accessories page) and lay it into the cover, and we're good to go! I haven't tried the stay dry insert. We were borrowing someone's bum genius, so we tried using the BG insert with the sock and it worked great! I prefer the BG insert/sock and flip cover to the whole BG diaper. Some plusses is that the insert/sock is easier to rinse the poo off of than the BG, since it's smaller and less fabric to deal with. The Flip cover keeps the BG insert in place perfectly. I am new to CDing, so hopefully I helped someone else who is new also! Still trying to get my hubby on board with the whole thing.... lol.
Tiffany Rating: 5 | I love these diapers! I have a 25 month old and a 7 month old. We plan on having more children and the thought of having 2 in diapers for the next few years was enough for me to want to go to cloth. The same diapers work for both babies. They never leak. When my 7 month old was wearing disposable, he was waking up in the middle of the night soaked. Now I wake him in the morning and his clothes are completely dry! I haven't tried any other brand, but I don't need too. These diapers were reasonably priced to get started. They are easy to care for. Easy to use and work better than disposable! What more could you ask for! I really wish that I had used them from the beginning with my first child.
Danielle Rating: 5 | I love this system! I'm new to CDing and was a little apprehensive at first. These have never leaked (even over night) with my 2 month old long and skinny baby, don't stink after washing, and are almost as simple as disposables! So far, so good.
Cynthia Rating: 5 | I am totally in love with these diapers! We started out with bumGenius 3.0 but bought a few of these for the diaper bag because they are much less bulky. They are now our primary diapers. I love the snaps. I love that you can use the cloth or disposable inserts. My baby has never leaked in these, whereas we had some leaking issues with the others because she is a heavy wetter, I guess. My only complaint: MORE COLORS!!! :)
Pamela Rating: 5 | I love these! I was using Gdiapers with our first, but I am tired of the velcro sticking to and ruining other clothes, even though I closed up the tabs they would come open in the wash. At first I thought snaps would be a pain, but its not bad at all. I also love that they can be wiped out... my gdiapers would often leak out the liner and get the cloth part wet, which meant washing everything. Since we pay for laundry, this is a big deal! With the flips I can get several uses out of one cover before washing it again. Normally I give them a quick hand washing at night and they are dry the next day. We use infant prefolds inside or ours, and they work great. I love that for less than $150 we will be diapering our oldest at night, our youngest until he is out of diapers, and possibly another baby later on!
Also, when we have used disposable diapers on our youngest, he often has his messes go outside the diaper and onto his clothes, but we have never had that happen with the flips!
Right now we have 6 covers which is more than enough. I think we will be ordering more though because there are more color choices. All I can say is if you want an economical, easy to use cloth diaper system, Flips are the way to go!
Ashley Rating: 5 | I love the flip system. I was unsure about cloth diapering, but after buying a day pack, I'm realizing that I need to start a stash. I've yet to have any leaking with the flip system, they fit well and it's so easy to change out the inserts.
Tiffany Rating: 5 | I have been using the Flip system for one week now on my seven month old daughter. This is my first cloth diapering experience and I am confident that I made the right choice with these diapers! No leaks at all! I am using the Nellies Laundry Soda and the inserts smell brand new. I LOVE cloth diapering and I LOVE the Flip system!! Only one tiny complaint, more colors please!!
Susan Rating: 5 | I am VERY glad I chose to go with the FLIP system. We started by only buying one day pack, but within the month my husband and I were hooked! We got more and now we are cloth diapering our 2 year old daughter 95% of the time. we have a little boy that we are hoping to switch to cloth diapering by the age of 3 months. The only reason we are waiting is in the hopes of our daughter being potty trained so we can use them on him without having to buy more. Very very happy!

Jean Rating: 5 | I have been waiting to write my review until I had used them for a decent amount of time and really got to know them. We have been using for 2+ months and I really like the flip diaper system. I use the organic inserts...my son had a reaction to the stay-dry liners. I find the organics super absorbent. We have not had a leak yet and this is all he wears. He wears them overnight and again, no leaks. I do not double or add another insert overnight. (His disposables used to leak). We have not had any blowouts either...there have been times with explosive poo, and the poo did get on the cover, but did not leave the cover. I like that we can decide how wide to fold the inserts. We fold them just shy of how wide the covers are. This helps to make the diaper not so bulky. I also found that not tucking in the insert under the back flap works better than tucking it under. I like that I can use the cover several times before having to put it in the pail. I recommend this product all the time, and this time is no different. We are very happy with this system.
Michelle Rating: 5 | SO FLEXIBLE! My 2.5 year old has never been cloth diapered, but since I am CD'ing my new baby, I have switched him too. During the day we are potty training but I need him dry at night for now. He is a big boy and the BG 3.0 stuffed for nighttime was too tight. I have been putting him in a Flip with one stay dry insert and 2 Hemp Babies doublers behind it. His bum is dry in the morning and he is totally comfortable. Sometimes I will also snap a Flip over his non-waterproof training pants. You will get your money's worth from this system.
Suzanne Rating: 5 | love the inserts. love the covers. easy to use. so much better then disposables. only thing I dont like is that the fabric under the front flap isnt really pul and isnt the same color as the rest of the cover... its white. it annoys me... but it doesnt really affect the diaper... only is bf poo get under it... then you must emerge it in water to get it to come out from under it. best system Ive used for daily say use... btw, I use boorio covers with bg sicks stuffed with prefolds for over nights.
Timmi Rating: 5 | I wanted to try cloth diapering with my first child four years ago, but found that the initial start up was daunting, also I don't think my husband was too keen on the idea. But with my second baby constantly getting a sore bum, and sick of spending $20 bucks every time we needed diapers, I'd give cloth a try. I was going to go with the Bum Geniuses, but based on one review about chubby thighs I went with these. They ROCK!!! Really versatile and super easy! I haven't tried the disposable liners yet, so I don't know how they will work out but the liners are so super soft. I also got the hemp doublers to go with them for night time and think they are even softer.
Karen Rating: 5 | I love my Flip diapers! I was a little nervous about cloth diapering because of the extra task of doing more laundry but it has not been a problem at all. There is no folding or stuffing involved – just pull them from the dryer and stack them on the changing table. I will say that I just ordered two more covers for a total of six. I have found that sometimes the covers get too wet to just wipe out plus my son is BF so BMs can be a bit messy. I will have a total of 24 inserts and 6 covers which keeps me going for two days without feeling pressured to get the diapers out of the dryer. I hope this encourages someone else to try cloth!
Jessica Rating: 5 | We are new to Cloth Diapering and chose the Flips for our first choice. I was intrigued with the idea of a diaper that would fit until my baby was potty trained. We've been using them for about three weeks and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. They fit my chubby 6 month really well. I'm pretty confident they will last until he's out of diapers. We only use one insert at night and so far have had no leaks! The only complaint that I have is that the covers still smell like plastic, especially after they come in contact with urine. (They've been washed several times). Overall, with my very limited experience, I think the Flip is a good diaper. I would recommend them to other first time diaperers.
Jamie Rating: 5 | I love these! I was so worried after reading reviews but tried them anyways. I think they are great! The 1st set I got seemed narrow but still contained it well. The ones that I just got in the mail today seem wider! I think they are softer than G-diapers and cheaper. They are so soft & fit well in G-diapers, Bum Genius, & Flips! I have had no leaks unlike when we used disposables with every time he pooped it was up his back & staining clothes. I am very happy with these! By the way my soon is breastfed so he has those massive explosive poops! Give them a try!
Emily Rating: 5 | I love the Flip system. We've been using them for 2 weeks now (switched from disposables), and I have no complaints. The inserts rinse out easily, and with a single insert they are great daytime diapers, and not bulky at all. His clothes don't even fit differently. The only thing I wish is that they came in more colors. :)
Mitzi Rating: 5 | Go ahead and buy a dozen - a great, absorbent, soft insert or doubler, but also great as a changing table liner, bib, burp cloth, or towel. Washes and dries easily because it unfolds flat. Fold it into thirds the short way to fit the small or medum settings, the long way for the large setting. Packs into the diaper bag as a super-duper multipurpose anything!
Mitzi Rating: 5 | I wish these were available when I started with cloth two years ago! I bought three daypacks, plus six extra hemp flats, and it is enough for my one-year old and my two and a half year old for two days! The organics are so soft and wash and dry so well because they unfold flat, also great for burp cloths.
The fit is great, the colors are cute, and they are just strong enough o ne difficult to be unsnapped by a toddler.
Hilary Rating: 5 | Great for night time. Pretty bulky but not nearly as bulky as a pocket diaper w/ 2 inserts which is what we did use. We use stay dry inserts during the day. I only have one of these that I bought used to try but will get more.
Stephanie Rating: 5 | I used to use bumGenius 3.0 one size diapers, but decided to try these b/c I didn't like having to mess with the velcro (they'd get stuck together in the wash despite following directions). I was worried they wouldn't be as absorbent, but they are awesome! I use only these style now, and they are easy to use, easy to wash, and quick to dry. I love the snaps and I love that there is no stuffing involved...so does my husband!
Brittany Rating: 5 | This is a great cover, they wipe out very easy and fit well with the trimmest fit I have gotten with a cloth diaper on my little girl.
Grace Rating: 5 | we LOVE these diapers! i had my first baby in late march, and before she was born i did a lot of research on cloth diapers and decided that the flip system would probably work best for us. we have not been sorry! these diapers fit her great and have NEVER leaked when using them with the stay dry insert - even for newborn dirty diapers. (we used the disposable inserts on a trip and had a few leaks with dirty diapers, but never with wet ones - it seems that they still leak less than when we were using disposables when she was first born.) so far, cloth diapering has worked out great for us and i attribute a lot of that to the ease of using flip diapers. my only complaint about these diapers is that one of the snaps did come off of one of the covers after our only three weeks of use. all in all, i think these diapers are great and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to start using cloth diapers.
Meredith Rating: 5 | I wrote a review last week and I wanted to add to it. I love the Flip diapers. I started out with prefolds, and decided to make the change to Flip to have the trimmer fit and the stay-dry lining. I recently saw a review in which a mom said that she cut up and stitched her prefolds to make a flip-style insert. What a great idea! I did this recently, and I also bought some thin fleece and cut it to fit the inserts and stitched it to one side to wick away the moisture. I still love the flip inserts better, but this was a great way to make use of my extra prefolds.
Cynthia Rating: 5 | I was skeptical when I decided to try these because of the reviews, but I liked them. I expected the insert to bunch up because all inserts bunch up (even regular disposable diapers bunch) and I didn't think they were too narrow. We used them when the little one had a diaper rash from a tummy problem so that we could apply cream. They were perfect, they are soft and very absorbent. They do smell like pee when they are full, but the smell is tons better than what a regular disposable smells like. Since there are no perfumes, or anything, I would expect them to smell like whatever they absorb! I had low expectations because of the reviews, but I like them and will continue using them when needed. We'll be taking a trip out of state and will use the Flip diapers with the disposable inserts while we are gone.
Shannon Rating: 5 | I don't know what I would do without the Flip System! I have some pocket diapers, which I do like, but Flip is our go-to for cloth diapering.
Rachel Rating: 5 | I LOVE THESE INSERTS! they are so aswome i just got them in. they really do stay dry after my daughters first diaper change i felt the liner and you couldnt even tell it was wet! and it lasted so long it had been like 3 hours since i changed her! I love these i will be odering more!
Meredith Rating: 5 | I love these diapers! I am a third-time mom with an almost one year old, and I wish I would have started cloth diapering earlier. Of course, the Flip diaper has not been around that long, so I'm glad I made my investment with them. They are so cute, easy to use, and my favorite thing is that they are almost as thin as a disposable. I don't like bulky diapers! They absorb really well and the stay-dry inserts really seem to keep my little girl feeling dry, which is important to me as well. I am defintely spreading the word to other moms. If more people knew how easy cloth diapering can be, I know they would make the switch.
Hilary Rating: 5 | Love these! When I'm not using them with my Flip inserts, they are my first pick for prefolds too! A little bulky on my 2 month old but that's to be expected with anything one size.
Megan Rating: 5 | I love these diapers! I like that they are so stretchy and versatile... if I run out of Flip inserts I can just grab another kind of insert or a pf and use it instead. They are less bulky and I love that you can just wipe it out and use it again. I also love the stay dry inserts. I've been using pf's with pins and covering them with this cover and like it much better than a Thirsties cover. I was hesitant to try it with the Stay-dry inserts because that would mean that the cover is directly against her skin on the sides where the liner doesn't cover and because it seemed like the liner would get bunched up and move around. I finally ordered a liner and tried it, and I love it!! It doesn't bunch up or move around, the fleece side is so soft and keeps her dry, and it holds a lot of liquid. Also, it's not a big deal that her hips are touching the cover because the part that's touching her skin is softer than the rest of it and more fabric-like. These are probably my favorite diapers for daytime out of 7 different kinds I've tried. (Fuzzibunz pocket is a close second). I haven't tried it at night yet, but I will try it and use two stay-dry inserts. And I can definitely agree that they'd be easier to pack in a diaper bag since you only need one cover and a few inserts. I have some disposable inserts, and I can't even bring myself to try them yet. They are way narrower than the diaper and I just can't envision them catching everything. My only regret with these diapers is that I wish I hadn't ordered Grasshopper green... they should really just call it lime green.

Laura Rating: 5 | We received the Flip System yesterday and I am thrilled! 20 years ago I cloth diapered my babies, feeling that part of the responsibility of bringing a child into the world was also showing concern for their future and the environment. I've just become a first time Grandma with Mother and child living with us. Our daughter used her baby gift cards to purchase the Flip System and she loves them! The diapers are so absorbent, less bulk than pre-folds, couldn't be easier to use and the pants are adorable! There's no reason why this $150 investment wouldn't last through potty training. Even if we had to purchase more, this is about 1/10 the price of diapering with disposables. I'm glad that cloth diapers are coming back into vogue. This Day Pack will now be my standard gift when someone has a baby.
Krysta Rating: 5 | LOVE LOVE LOVE First pick out of all my cloth diapers everytime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Laura Rating: 5 | I have diapered two babies from birth to potty training. With another little one on the way, I decided to try out the Flips on my two year old that is almost potty trained, but not quite. What a great system! I love these. I started cloth diapering primarily in Fuzzi Bunz. Later on I discovered that I preferred prefolds and covers better because the covers didn't have to be washed with every use. The Flips system gives a much trimmer fit than a prefold and cover, the inserts wash up incredibly well, you need fewer shells than you would with a pocket diaper, and you can also use the disposable inserts! Brilliant! These are perfect! I also never liked the one size pocket diapers because they were so hard to stuff on the smaller settings, but you don't have to stuff these, so no issue!
Shanai Rating: 5 | Forgot to add that we'd love to have lavendar as a color choice!
Shanai Rating: 5 | We just switched from disposables to the flips about a month ago and we LOVE them! Hoping they come out with some fun/cute prints!!
Cynthia Rating: 5 | We've used the BumGenius 3.0 for three months now and love them. However, we needed something a little better suited to traveling and being away from home since just a few BG's over-flow the diaper bag. These diapers are awesome. I can fit 9 stay-dry inserts, two covers and a small handful of the disposable inserts in the diaper bag and still fit other things like change of clothes, burp cloth, blanket, etc. Whenever we leave the house, baby goes in one of these and I always leave all of the extra inserts and covers in the diaper bag so we can just go and not pack the diaper bag every time. Never had a leak, either.
Alicia Rating: 5 | These are great inserts-very absorbent. When paired with a Flip diaper cover they get my 4 month old son through the night without a leak-that is something that disposables were not doing. It is a little bulky-I would not use it for a daytime diaper, unless I knew he was going to be in his carseat for a long time, but as a night time solution it has been perfect!
Abigail Rating: 5 | I switched to CDing because my newborn's bm's were not contained by disposable diapers and have now been CDing for 2 months. I started with the Flip diapers (one set of regular and one set of organic) and I love them. I bought BGs and FuzziBunz as well, but I love that I can use the covers multiple times and use prefolds so they are much more cost efficient. My favorite combo with the Flip covers are the BG inserts in the socks.
I only have one thing about these that I don't like and that is that the organic inserts stain every time they get pooped on...it takes about 4 washes and drying in the sun to get the stains faded enough to make me happy.
Kimberly Rating: 5 | I wish they had these when I first started cloth diapering my son 3 years ago. Now I'm diapering my daughter and these are by far our favorites. We have tried a TON of different systems, brands, etc, and these take the cake! They are seriously the best value for your money. The organic inserts are SO absorbant and soft, the stretchy tabs on the covers allow you to get the perfect fit without red marks, and the snaps keep you from getting the dreaded "diaper chain" in your laundry (not to mention you don't have to worry about it getting caught on your other diapers and tearing them up). If I could do it all over again, I would get 2 of these day packs, a dozen or two flats, and maybe a few econobum covers to use from newborn - potty trained. Love them!!!
Shannon Rating: 5 | My son has been in the flip system since he was one month old. He is exclusively breastfed and these work great. All messes have been contained inside the cover. I just rinse the insert, which you don't actually have to do being that he is breastfed, wash the cover and hang to dry. This takes me all of 3 minutes. For the pocket diapers I find Fuzzibunz work best, and the snaps stay in a better condition for both Flip and Fuzzibunz than the velcro on other styles.
Lindsey Rating: 5 | I just started cloth diapering and got these last week and I am in love! They are so awesome! My daughter has yet to have a leak in these and she used to almost always wake up wet in the morning! LOVE LOVE LOVE these....can't say enough good things about them!
Michelle Rating: 5 | I ordered the Flip day pack and the prefold day pack to try cloth diapering for the first time. I absolutely love the Flip system. I was intimidated by all the different kinds of diapers, but the day packs helped me get a feel for everything. I am so happy with the flexibility of the Flip system. I wasn't as happy with the prefolds (couldn't get the hang of folding, etc), and we are on a budget, so I ended up cutting up and sewing the prefolds into more inserts for the flip covers. The work great! I like the brand-name stay dry inserts, but the homemade inserts work fine when we are home. I'd also like to point out that you can use the flip inserts with some of the other diaper covers if you have them already--the whole system is wonderfully mix-and-match-able. Love it. I think it is also probably less expensive than other systems because you can keep reusing the cover unless poop gets on it. Give it a try!
Devlin Rating: 5 | LOVE these. My husband, babysitter and I are all in agreement that these are our favorite covers by far. I use them with prefolds or the inserts and these things are bulletproof. I have yet to have a leak and my son has leaked through every other diaper we have tried. They fit well and leave no red marks. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
Heather Rating: 5 | I reviewed before but I forgot to add something-- this system is amazing, but I think the sizing is way off. My 20-lb 7-month old is still on the smallest setting. I can't imagine this same setting on a newborn. Maybe DS just has a really tiny rise, but he seems pretty average to me. I would get some newborn covers & PFs to use for the first couple of months.
Sheila Rating: 5 | I absolutely love these! I was so excited when they came out with all the new colors. :) These never leak. This is a big deal, since disposables leak quite frequently for us (my mom refuses to do the cloth thing when she watches him), and it's nice to finally not have to worry when pulling his pants off for a diaper change if there is also going to be poop all down his leg. My son is tiny, and before these I was trying to use gdiapers, but even the smalls now don't fit my almost 9 month old. His thighs aren't big enough around for them, so I was skeptical on whether these would work for him. Now I'm a believer! If you're wondering if you should buy these or not, do! You won't be disappointed. :)

Rachel Rating: 5 | Love these diapers. I have used econobum as well and like these much better. The insert is very soft and easy to put in the cover. Sometimes the poo does get on the covers or even leak out, but once my 2 month old gets bigger I might not have this problem. Covers seem like they will last a while. Dont like the disposable inserts because they are too narrow.
Mary Rating: 5 | We bought these because our daughter has VERY chunky thighs and the BG AIO 3.0 stash we had started to leave red marks on her chubby thighs. These are a little higher rise in the thigh, giving her better freedom to walk and run, and she can wear them all day long without a single red mark. We love the organic inserts, but have also used our microfiber inserts inside a stay-dry sock with just as much success, It's nice that we can interchange products that we already own. These are also more trim fitting, so her clothes fit better in the rump area. We are so very happy with this purchase and plan on getting some more ---- do wish that they came in the clementine color though. :) Also, our daughter knows how to undo velcro, so it's so nice these have snaps ---- she can't take these off! :)
Sarah Rating: 5 | Love these diapers! While they aren't great for my exclusively breastfed newborn they work wonderful on my 24 month old. No leaks and so simple!! I'm really exicted to get a few more of these as my baby gets a little older. A few of the things I love: good price, no leaks, super trim fit. I will definetly be buying more!
Michelle Rating: 5 | I left a review the other day but wanted to add to it - trying to be helpful for those considering cloth diapering! After using the flip for a week, I ordered a bumGenius and prefer using it at night, so then I ordered the 20 pack of the one size bg thinking I would use it all the time. I find myself switching back to the flip during the day with my one month old, because it isn't as bulky on the sides for him and actually easier to clean. I think I will use the bg more as he grows, but with a newborn I think the flip is GREAT. Never had a leak, even if he has a blowout, you just need to clean the cover. I do recommend extra covers.
Michelle Rating: 5 | I am writing this in hopes that someone who is considering cloth diapering will order the day pack and give it a go! I liked the reviews and the price on the flip. I felt like it was a minimal commitment for me and I could certainly "tough it out" long enough to break even over disposables if I didn't like cloth diapering. I used the flip for about a week and then committed to the bumGenius one size 20 pack. This is my 4th child, he is breastfed and initially I sold my husband on the idea saying if we only cloth diapered until solids we would still save money! I just ordered the bumGenius sprayer to help spray out the poop now that I don't have to do laundry every day. I am now using the flip for my diaper bag, we are a 30 minute drive from the nearest city and so doing errands, the flexibility of the flip is just great. I never had leaks. Sometimes the breastmilk poop will get on the cover, and if it isn't too bad you can rinse in hot water and hang to dry - even if you have to put in the wash, it dries really fast. I like the disposable insert - sometimes I will use a disposable insert on top of a stay dry one if I know he is going to poop and I will need to change him in the car. I know this is long but I just want to recruit more people to cloth diapering - I wish I had a time machine to go back and cloth diaper my other three kids!

Stephanie Rating: 5 | I just used these diapers on my two month old for a weekend road trip. They were wonderful! I highly recommend them for travel. The disposable inserts were very absorbent and easy to use. They didn't leak once - even with my baby's explosive poops. The poop did get on the covers, but was easily wiped off (although a little messy). I used two covers and one package of the disposable liners for 3 days. GREAT system!

Kristin Rating: 5 | We had previously used the BG 3.0's and were thrilled, but....after our daughter turned one, and had more liquid in her, really the laundry just got out of control and so we called it quits. 3 months later...due to rash circumstances our pediatrician told us to go cloth....Enter the flip! These weren't available when we had previously bought diapers. They were half the cost, just as cute, and I do believe EASIER to use. I LOVE the flip. Given the fact that she's 15 months, I had no problem spending the money again becasue I am for sure going to get it's worth....oh, because right before our daughter got the rashes - I had just sold the 3.0's...Murphy's law at it's finest. These are great and I am so excited that they are available..and that I live in St. Charles, MO so they are of easy access to shop. Although....now I just want more of them....just because.
Rebecca Rating: 5 | These covers are amazing! I wish that they had come out with them sooner! I had tried the bumkins and bambino mio covers (both leaked HORRIBLY and only came in one-size) before these finally came out and am now so excited that they came out with more colors - I will definitely be buying more!
I have been using the Flips for about 4 months now and have yet to have a leak! The only problem that I have had is that a snap came off of one of our covers, but they say that they'll send me a free replacement.
Mike Rating: 5 | Love love love this system. It holds uo better than any other diaper for long car rides and over night with out even feeling wet. My only concern is that the snap down sizing snaps are not reinforces so I am affraid they might pull out over time. I am selling all my other diapers to buy more flips. I think cotton babies needs to bring out some prints!
Cristina Rating: 5 | I have used Flip covers for 4 mo. This is my second review. When I left the first review, Flip only came in Zinnia for girls, so I gave it a 4 because of the limited color choices. BUt now it comes in 3 new girl colors, so I am giving it a 5. No issues, they still work perfect after 4 mo. I keep checking the site every day for more colors. Yes, Jen, we know they are under the clothes and no one sees them, but we'd still love more colors! I didn't like the Thirsties duo. The colors are great, but they didn't fit my baby at all. She is in the 95 percentile for H, and 75 percentile for weight. the outer gusset was cutting into her skin. Please, at least give us the Clementine in Flip! They fit great and they do not stain--what more can one ask for? (Besides more colors LOL) You've thought about everything else Eg. the tag is on the outside, so that the clothes keep dry vs other covers that have inside labels and the clothes get damp from it. THE ONLY REASON I own other brands is because I want more colors. I arrange all my diapers and covers on a shelf in my baby's bedroom and they look so cute when they are all different colors! Great job!

Bethany Rating: 5 | OH MY GOODNESS!
I just got my Flip diapers in the mail, along with a bunch of the Indian Cotton diapers that I plan to use as inserts... can we all say ADORABLE?! The prefolds fit perfectly into the diapers! I swear, I just about hunted down my cat to try them on something!! I can't wait to use these on my little one when they get here in June!! And did I mention that even with the FREE shipping it only took 2 days to get here?! How awesome is that?!?! Thank you so much for your awesome service! I'll definitely be back to complete my collection once we find out if it's a girl or boy!!!
Olive Rating: 5 | I love love love these diapers. I bought them about 4 months ago and my daughter has NEVER had a leak or a blow out; she poops about 5 times a day! I used BG 3.0 for my first daughter, but at times she had leaks so I wanted to try a new system and the reviews for these seemed to suit my needs, now I use these all the time and even use the inserts from my BG in the flip when I run out of inserts. These are fabulous diapers, great price, great quality, comfy happy baby, what more can I say!
Heather Rating: 5 | BEST cover EVER! If only they came in more colors or even patterns (brown & red PLEASE Jenn?) I wouldn't own any other type of diaper system. Right now I have some Duos covers just for more color/print variety, but I like Flips a lot better. I use yellow-edge GMDs in them for days, and I need to get some organics for nights because I hear great things about their absorbency. (We use 3.0s now, but I prefer natural fibers) DS is 6 months and uses the middle snap-down. These are trim, durable, and look like they'll last through PLing. Love Love Love. :)
Emily Rating: 5 | I LOVE Flip diapers!!! I am getting started very late with cloth diapering....my third child is 19 months. I wish I had discovered it 6 years ago! I read tons of reviews and tried out the Bumgenius all-in-one but wasn't impressed with the velcro (which is already starting to roll up after a few washes) and I didn't like how I had to get rid of the whole diaper every time. With the Flip we are still going to save a ton of money over disposables (as long as she is not potty trained within a few months!) and I will be able to use them again if more kiddos come along. My daughter is 27 pounds with a round belly and the diaper fits great with 2 additional snaps on each side to expand if needed. I have not had a single leak. I use 2 inserts at night which is bulky but during the day one works great and fits well under all her clothes. I have 5 covers and 16 inserts so I only have to wash every few days. I recommend these to everyone now...I just wish I had started cloth diapering a long time ago! I never thought it could be this easy.
Kimberly Rating: 5 | I have only been using these for a couple of days but so far I love them! We use two covers at a time. We get one ready, put it on, and wipe out the one we just took off. We then set that one aside for the next diaper change. It works great. Of course, when my son poops we just throw the whole diaper and insert in the bin to be washed. So far the poop has not leaked out of the cover which is a big improvement over disposables. We have 7 covers which is more than enough if you wash them every couple of days. I think this is a great option if you are trying to save money!
Christine Rating: 5 | I really love this cover. I actually don't like the inserts that it comes with, but I LOVE using it over a Kissaluvs fitted diaper. The fit is GREAT and I never have leaks with it. I will never use another cover. As for the inserts that go with it, they need to be wider and they need a snap or something to keep it in place.
Rebecca Rating: 5 | these took me a little while to warm upto but now i love them. i wish they had had the new colors available when i bought them! these covers dry very quickly when you hang them and can be reused quite a few times without washing as long as your little one doesnt poop. my lo is 17 months and small but they fit nicely and snugly. i dont know how they would fit on a newborn though
Jeanine Rating: 5 | nice diapers. I've tried many kinds including the bum genius 3.0 pockts and these are very nice. I bought them for outings and they're doing really well so far. My son even had a pretty yucky poop in them while at a restaurant and no leaks! I also like the trimness (better than the bum genius) and the nice soft organic cotton inserts. These are wonderfully absorbant. Great product! I am happy that I can have a system while doing errands without having to resort to disposables.
Lindsay Rating: 5 | I love my Flips! They are a great daytime diaper and even work pretty well for naps (though I personally don't use them at night). The covers fit so well and the diapers are really nice and trim. And since my baby prefers stay dry diapers, they're a great way to build up a nice sized stash for cheap! Poop does get on the covers, though, so buy a few more covers than you think you need.
Oh, and I have all three of the original (dark) colored covers and I never had any problems with the dyes bleeding. I washed all my brand new covers with the brand new inserts and the inserts stayed white. I don't think washing six times is really necessary, especially if you use cold water.
Priscilla Rating: 5 | Tried these on my 2 yr. old at night and they work perfectly for her night time pee accidents! Can't wait for my newborn to get big enough to fit these so i can see how they work on him. He was only 6 lbs. and 9 oz. So he is very small.
Tricia Rating: 5 | I love the Flip cover with the stay dry inserts mainly because they are great for use and home and WONDERFUL for use with traveling. My 6 month old only needs 1 insert and IF you get the proper fit, the liner has no where to go so there are no leaks. I love using these over the BG AIO or OS because they are less bulky, both in baby wearing them, and in storing them before wash time, as well as packing them in a diaper bag. The liners don't take up any more room than a disposable diaper would. Perfect. I like the velcro on the couple of BG OS I have (use them with a liner doubled up for overnight just to make sure I have enough protection), but I know I don't have to worry about the snaps being replaced like I would for the velcro. The covers are a breeze to wash and dry. You can even do them by hand if you need them in a pinch. I have 3 covers and 24 inserts that I rotate. Then a handful of BG OS for overnight. I'm very glad I chose these as my MAIN diaper for CDing.
Amanda Rating: 5 | We love the Flip! We were previously using prefolds but they were so bulky and leaked. We haven't had any issues with Flips. They fit well, are trim, super absorbent, and wash well. I love that they are snaps so there is no Velcro to damage covers in the wash. Definitely a great value, worth the money.
Angela Rating: 5 | I absolutely love love love the flip diapers! I am totally new to cloth diapering and am so glad that I found the flip diapers. The microfiber insert works great and I just wipe off the poo with a wipe. Which means no rinsing dirty diapers in the toilet by hand - yucky. However, I recommend using a microfiber insert and a hemp doubler to keep baby drier - it all works so well. The whole system is so easy. Why doesn't everyone use the flip?
Carrie Rating: 5 | These are my favorite cloth diapers! I like them better than bum genius because: they have a trimmer fit, they have snaps instead of velcro so poop can't accidentally get "caught" in the velcro, you don't have to touch the dirty part or pull it out of a pocket - just "flip" it out into your diaper pail, and you don't have to wash the whole diaper every time (can reuse the cover many times if clean!). The cover also works well with prefolds, but I prefer the stay-dry insert. I'd recommend these over the many other kinds I've tried.
Anne Rating: 5 | This is my first adventure in CD and as others have said, I would not be doing it if not for flips. My son is 7 weeks old and we still tend to leak into the shell, but in 7 weeks, I've only had 2 -3 leaks out of the entire diaper. I consider this not bad. I am bf, but this son (I have 3 children total) has not started to poo less or less watery. Either way, I think this was a GREAT investment. I bought enough to last us so that we only have to wash every other day - which for us is about 20 inserts and 6 shells. With this amount of washing, I have noticed that our water bill went up $15 and electricity - I'll have to check next month (we had a month of extended live-in help (ie - the in laws!) after the baby was born. Regardless, these diapers are saving us money and do not take a whole lot of extra time of the washing machine. I look forward to using these diapers the whole time.
Tammy Rating: 5 | Love love love these diapers. We've been using disposables for 3.5 years, and were hesitant to switch to cloth because of the workload (3 kids under 3.5.... not much free time, haha) and the high startup cost. These diapers won me over because of how cheap they were (invested $200 in 4 day packs, which gives me enough diapers for 2 full days for my 2 year old and 3 month old) and how easy it sounded. They have definitely met and exceeded my expectations. No leaks, even runny breastmilk BMs. My 2 year old is still nursing at night and is a SUPERsoaker, and has woken up to wet sheets and jammies every day in disposables for months. Now I've been putting him to bed in 2 stay dry inserts and a Flip cover, and he's been waking up dry! I love how the Stay Dry insert feels dry to the touch and wicks moisture away from the skin. The insert does bunch up a lil between the legs when it gets wet, but I can't imagine any insert/trifold system would be any different. Poop does get on the cover a lot, but it's a diaper... as long as it contains the mess (as disposables often did not...), I'm very satisfied. I especially like that I can just wipe out most messes. A few cons that will hopefully be improved in V2.0: Runny poop does often get on the elastic edging on the cover, which is fabric and doesn't wipe off. Fully wipeable double leg gussets would be AWESOME. I just handwash it in the sink and let it hang dry, and throw it in with the inserts every time I do laundry, but it would be nice to be able to skip that step. The only other con that I can think of? No patterns :) Heh. CottonBabies, if you start making patterns, my wallet is in it trouble! :) All in all, awesome diaper, awesome price, very easy system for the new cloth diaper user. Well worth it, i'll definitely be buying several more Day Packs!
Bethany Rating: 5 | Awesome diaper! I am new to CDing and my 6 month old does great in these! I didn't even wash them the recommended amount of times before use and have had NO leaks! I got the stay dry inserts and they hold LOTS of pee! I also bought the Bummis liner and I have to say it is the BEST thing for poop! All I have to do is take the liner out and flush the solids away...most of the time, the insert doesn't even get stained! LOVE THESE! Recommended to everyone!
Erin Rating: 5 | These are great!!! I have 2 in diapers and had been using BG OS 3.0 and needed more diapers so I decided to save some $ and try these instead. They are wonderful! They are trim fitting and so easy to use. The snaps are great also.I also tried the organic and was not so happy. The organic are too bulky and gave my daughter a rash. I am so happy with the stay dry that I ordered 13 more inserts and always choose these over my 3.0's. Also, they are so much easier to pack in the diaper bag.
Annabelle Rating: 5 | I finally get to review this item based on MY child. I bought the day pack and 1 BG 3.0 before my daughter was born. I didn't try them until her cord fell off at 16 days. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and the flip diaper fit on her when I just used 2 stay dry inserts the first week without any leaks. After that she her legs filled better and I switched to 1 insert and still no leaks. I only have 1 BG and I dont like how bulky it is. I absolutely LOVE flips and I have been telling all of my friends and family about them. I can't wait until my inlaws visit. They said to pick out what I want for my birthday when they come..and I'm going to buy more flips! lol
Sophia Rating: 5 | Forgot to add: I have no problem putting my daughter in her clothes. The Stay-Dry makes for a much trimmer fit than the Organic I think.
Sophia Rating: 5 | I'm new to CD & I have to say the Flips made it SO EASY for me to switch over from sposies! They are so easy and Daddy friendly (babysitter friendly too)! I can go on and on about how much I love these diapers! I just wish they had some patterns to choose from! But the colors are nice and bright. I didn't have any problems with the shells bleeding. Flip's make CDing a BREEZE.
Cotton Babies is great also. Very quick delivery!
Lauren Rating: 5 | I love these! We started with BG 3.0 OS and I loved those too, except for the velcro, which kept on snagging my very dry fingertips.
So the lovely ladies at Cotton Babies exchanged them for these. These are easier to clean and use, especially with the disposable inserts. Even my hubbs uses these. I do have a 2 month old so we like to double the inserts with the stay dry and the disposable for easier clean up and to catch the blow outs with the fitting form of the 2 inserts while our son is still small.
Tenaya Rating: 5 | We absolutely LOVE these covers. With a flat or a prefold, they are super trim and fit under my daughter's clothes!! She can finally wear normal baby pants again!!
Jessica Rating: 5 | I love these inserts! They are super absorbent and pull moisture away from my son's skin so perfectly. They catch all the poop and wash up really well, no stains! Also, they are really soft and not too bulky.
Susan Rating: 5 | I love, love, LOVE this system! I've been cloth diapering for a year and a half now, and was ready to give up on it when my one year old was just too messy and too active for me to want to deal with. These fit PERFECTLY, are so quick and easy to put on and are sooo nice with the disposable liners! Flip, where have you been all my life!!! ;0)
Jade Rating: 5 | BEST economical cloth diapering system out there, IMHO. So soft and absorbent. I love both the Flip cover and organic insert.
Jade Rating: 5 | These inserts are fantastic!!! So SOFT and absorbent. They work great with the Flip covers but we also like them with our Bummis covers. I highly recommend these Flip organic inserts.
Gretchen Rating: 5 | I bought three of these for my daughter who has both an 8 mo. and 5 mo. baby at home. She just started cloth diapering and really loves this diaper cover . Just ordered three more for her . She uses them with the inserts, prefolds, and also flannel fitteds I have been making. Says they work wonderfully with all. Thank you Cotton Babies for this and your free shipping and great service.
Ashley Rating: 5 | This is the ONLY insert that holds up overnight for us. I highly recommend this product!
Katie Rating: 5 | I love these! If not for Flip I wouldn't be cding! I love the new colors too. This system is affordable. My LO has a very sensitive bum and these don't give her a rash or anything. I couldn't be more satisified with my purchase.
I wash these in my cheap washing machine. I put a little detergent, some baking soda, and a downy ball filled with vinegar and my inserts come out very clean!!!
My DCP doesn't mind doing these either! So we will save so much money not using disposables anymore!
Katie Rating: 5 | I love these! I wouldn't be cding without them. I do believe they will make it through another kid, too. Great investment!
Could you make this in clementine too!
Amber Rating: 5 | I love this diaper! I am a stay at home mother of two and this diaper makes it possible to cloth diaper on a fixed income! The stay dry inserts really do stay dry, my 6 month old has worn them for up to 6 hours during the day and longer at night and has NEVER had a leak! I will admit it did take some time getting used to the snaps but I LOVE the snaps now, they hold really well, the fit is awesome, very trim, easy to clean. There the first diaper I go for! I will be ordering more in YELLOW, so excited! Order this diaper and you wont be disappointed! Thanks cotton babies! Oh I do have one request, a bulk pack of the flip stay dry inserts would be great! Thanks again.

Sharon Rating: 5 | This review is just for the covers, although I did just order one of the stay-dry inserts to try. I LOVE this cover! I just started using cloth diapers on my 17 month old daughter. I've been using this cover with prefolds and a snappi and these covers are amazing. Soft and stretchy, great fit (even on a long & lean toddler), wipe out easily, NO LEAKS, and they look cute. :) When I do need to wash one, I just handwash it--that way I can get it washed immediately instead of leaving it in a laundry hamper or diaper pail. These dry quickly even when you hang dry them, and I've been getting by just fine with only two covers to use--by the time I need a fresh one, I always have it ready to go. I'm glad they have snaps, because the velcro on my pocket diapers is already looking pretty ratty and obviously velcro is something that just wears out eventually. I was so thrilled with these covers that I decided to go ahead and give the whole flip system a try...but even if you're an avid prefold/snappi user, you should definitely try out these covers.
Katie Rating: 5 | If not for flip I wouldn't be cloth diapering. If you have been on the fence about cloth diapering, this is your best choice. You can save a ton of money with this system! It is soooo easy!!!!!!!
Susan Rating: 5 | Flip diapers are the absolute best! I have tried sooo many diapers, and I cannot stress how these diapers compare! We use these 100% no disposables (daughter is allergic) and we even use these at night with ONE insert and zero leaks yet. We have been using them for months! I LOVE THEM and sold all of my other diapers just so I could buy all of these for my stash! I am getting ready to order more colors now! Yippiee!

Tabitha Rating: 5 | I love my flips! I had used BG 3.0 with my 2nd son and loved them...just hated how the velcro wore out. I thought I could give these a try with my 3rd. I started using these when he was 1 month old and Pampers caused a huge sore on his bottom. The sore was gone within 2 days when I switched to flips. These are also great with BMs. Yes it may get on the cover...thus the reason to have more than one cover, but flips hold in more than any other diaper I've ever used. My son doesn't go daily, so when he goes...he GOES. I have yet to have any BM leaking which is pretty amazing to me. I love them, and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to CD.
Melissa Rating: 5 | I absolutely LOVE these diapers. We have a one year old, 25 pound lil'man. I can honestly say we've never had a problem with the flip system. The flips have a great fit. These diapers were our first cloth diaper purchase. After reading the reviews I had extremely high expectations, and they definately lived up to it. We purchased the flip system and the bumgenius. I love the bumgenius diapers too, but they are more expensive, we mostly use those for nighttime. I wish we had taken the plunge to cloth diapers sooner.
Jessica Rating: 5 | I LOVE FLIP! I decided to go with cloth diapers right before my son turned 5 months and ended up researching different kinds for almost a week before I finally settled on Flip. They had overall great reviews and I love the convenience of resusing the outer cover and the option of disposable inserts. I considered going with Gro-Baby after my sister chose those, but I found that the Flip had much better reviews and also the GB are much more expensive, MUCH bulkier (my poor niece has the biggest butt!) and they don't have the great colors that Flip does! I don't understand why some people are having a hard time with these, they have worked perfect for my son. He slept 12 hours last night with only one stay dry insert and he sleeps on his side so I thought surely the edges of the cover would be wet, he usually would leak through his regular diaper this way. But to my surprise, totally dry! He is still wearing the same cover he slept in so we are going on about 14 hours in one cover and it is still dry and fresh! As for the poop problems people are having, thats kind of inevitable with any diaper like this. As long as it doesn't leak, I'm happy! I'm doing less laundry anyway so its not a big deal if I have to change out the cover sooner than planned. I highly recommend Flip! They are super trim, cute, and he seems to be very comfortable. Cute colors, great price, and perfect convenience and reliability. Thanks for making this diaper Cotton Babies, it has made our lives much easier! :)
Angella Rating: 5 | I love these covers! I have been using diaperaps velcro covers until now but the velcro wore out already :( So an internet friend mentioned these so I bought two to try. They are great! I am using standard prefolds with them since I already owned them and did NOT buy any inserts because I needed to save money. With a prefold, they work wonderfully for my toddler! I am not sure I would like them with a prefold for younger babies because of the bulk of having to fold them down but for older babies they are great! Someone mentioned about the flap getting urine everytime they wet....not true! If you use the cover correctly, then you are tucking the insert or prefold UNDERNEATH the flap and the flap is PUL underneat it and leaves a soft fabric to touch the babies skin. So if the insert is underneath where the PUL is, then you should not be getting the flap wet.
Cristine Rating: 5 | To the *one star* review below, she wasn't using it right. The smooth side goes UP, against the baby! Try again. :)
Cristine Rating: 5 | Flip diapers are the perfect system. The simplicity is what makes them so grand, but we get a few cute colors to make it fun!
I have never ever had a leak, no red marks on baby's legs, no velcro diaper chains. You carry less with you when you're on the go because all you need to bring are extra inserts and/or the tossable inserts. Washing these is a dream. Smaller loads of laundry, faster drying!
Overall, this is the perfect diapering system. I only wish it had been around a few years ago when I first began CDing!
If you know anyone who is skeptical or intimidated by Cloth, this will turn them, undoubtedly:)
Happy Diapering!
PS- Where's Clementine?!
Amy Rating: 5 | I love these covers!!! And thank you for finally giving us some new colors to choose from!!!
BONNIE Rating: 5 | LOVE this cover! Our 1 mo girl is on the long side & this cover fits much better than others we've tried (bummis SWW, dappi, econobum). Plus the colors are so cute!
Lorraine Rating: 5 | I LOVE these!! I have been using exclusively BG 3.0 OS and BG Organic OS snaps for several years now and on two different children (toddler boy, baby girl). I absolutely prefer the snaps to the velcro. I had been using the BG 3.0 OS with a doubler at night (12+ hours of sleep) and had occasional leaks. I purchased the flip system thinking it sounded like a good travel option. I soon discovered how easy it was and how awesome and leak-proof the cover is!! I decided to try it at night with one insert and a doubler. This is now my night-time choice. I have never experienced a leaky night since I made the switch. I must also add that I have purchased all my diapers from Cotton Babies and their customer service is outstanding. If ever I had an issue (only twice with the velcro), they addressed it and went above and beyond to be sure I was a very happy customer!!
Angela Rating: 5 | We have been use these diapers exclusively for the past few months now. It has been great. It has the 3.0 construction less the stuffing and w/ snaps. We love it. My DD is EBF, a heavy wetter and explosive poop. The diaper contains all. We add a doubler under the stay dry insert at night with no problem at all. A+
Bobbie Rating: 5 | These diapers are wonderful! I never thought I would put my son in cloth diapers. These make it so easy I could not pass up the chance to save money, by cloth diapering. I only wish they had double leg gussets, although, I've not had a problem.
Noelle Rating: 5 | These are SO great!! My son is a SUPER pee'er and these hold him wonderfully. I am even able to stuff a pocket with one of these and a hamp insert and it goes OVER NIGHT!!!! LOVE it! If you like the BG organics you will LOOOOVE this insert!!!
Amy Rating: 5 | **To Linda**
I have yet to try these inserts, but was checking them out tonight and comparing them to the gDip & GroB inserts that I've also purchased. I was very happy to find that the Flip inserts fit into the gDip liner nicely when folded down a bit (the same idea as how their microfiber folds down to size). There are no "lines" on my inserts either, so it's not just your batch :o) If you have some gDips, try it- just put the fold towards the back or front depending on whether your LO is a girl or boy- just like the microfiber instructions. Hope that helps!
Jen Rating: 5 | Best cover ever!!! I received thsi the other day, my son has worn it three times, one being all night and NO LEAKS whatsoever! I think we just found our new favorite cover!!!
Mary Rating: 5 | My daughter is six weeks old and while I haven't gotten a chance to use the Flip inserts yet, I've been using the covers with Kissaluvs 0s. I tried Thirsties (leaked), Prowraps (aggrivated belly button), Diaperwraps (also aggrivated belly button), Dappi (worked good, so ugly) and these. Flips covers are amazing on a newborn with KL0s. They look comfy, I can get a good fit, and they're cute. I haven't had one leak yet. I hope they work as well with the inserts.
Amanda Rating: 5 | As an avid BumGenius 3.0 user I was searching for a travel option for when I wouldn't be able to wash diapers regularly. I had tried gdiapers, but I wasn't in love, let's be honest I was spoiled by the great fit of my BG's! With a 1 week hotel stay looming over my head I ordered 1 Flip cover and a pack of disposable inserts. My son is 12 months old and has just started walking so he's very active and always crawling, walking, climbing or something. The fit was perfect! So far so good, now let's see how it holds up to leaks...off to playgroup we went. After 2 hours of play we headed out the door and don't you know it he fell asleep on the ride home and didn't wake for 2 more hours. Now we were up to 4 1/2+ hours in this new system we'd never tested. I was sweating bullets when he finally awoke but NO LEAKS! We continued to use the cover for the rest of the day and never had a problem. I was thrilled. So today I will be ordering more covers and disposable inserts for our trip.

Melissa Rating: 5 | LOOOOVE these covers! They are super trim, even on a newborn. Yes, they are thin, but that's how they stay so trim. I'm so happy Cotton Babies decided to offer these as a cover-only option because I have plenty of options for inserts (burp rags, old hand towels, etc). I'm constantly amazed that these don't leak despite a quite soft and somewhat "loose" feeling elastic. Something in the way they are designed and the fabrics used keeps them bullet-proof. I generally use only one cover a day--they are perfect to wipe out and reuse. The sizing and shape makes it easy for the inserts to contain the entire mess.
Rebecca Rating: 5 | All I have to say is ditto to Mary below. I also have an econobum and a bummis that I use with the bamboo fitteds and this is my favorite! My son is 5 mos old but only about 9 lbs ( he was born 1 lb 7 oz) and this is the best combo for under his clothes. I only have one of the green ones but I am about to order atleast one more and get the blue, Yay Flip!

Stephanie Rating: 5 | These are the reason I took the plunge into cloth diapering. I LOVE how easy it is, how versatile (two different sized princesses @ my house) and how affordable. I've been telling and showing all the mom's I know how AWSOME the Flip system is. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner!
Christina Rating: 5 | I LOVE these Flips!!! I haven't tried the Organic inserts yet, but I REALLY want to. If there was only one thing I could change, it'd be more colors. I'm dreaming of Clementine, butternut, blossom, twilight.... EXCELLENT product, would highly recommend. Keeps little ones SUPER dry and truly fits all the sizes it says! I use it for both now!
Colleen Rating: 5 | These are the cloth diapers I've been waiting for! Inexpensive, easy and they work! I love that there are no pins or snappis to mess with, just slap the clean insert in and re-fasten the cover. And less laundry to do than pocket diapers or all in ones. My entire Flip collection (I bought 3 Flips and 12 extra inserts) lasts us 2 full days of diapering, cost less than 2 months' worth of disposables, (and should last us until my daughter potty-trains!) and I can wash the whole lot in one medium-sized load in the washer! Amazing!
My breastfed daughter is an every-other-day pooper, so when she goes, no disposable diaper can contain it! We've ruined many outfits because of this, but not anymore! I was actually SHOCKED the first time she pooped in one of these... that cover just keeps it all contained! I've yet to find anything NOT great about these diapers.
Laurel Rating: 5 | I love my organic flips! They are super absorbent-- if anything that may be too absorbent (which is one of the only cons- that it is not as trim as the stay dry.) The only other con that I can think of is that the packs only come in one color per gender! I guess I am spoiled by the color variety from my bg's, but I will not be buying any more until there are more colors.
Stanley Rating: 5 | I could never say anything negative about bumgenius or cotton babies. Every experience I have had with them has been positive. I have used organic AIO's, flips and econobums and have been satisfied with all of them. I used the AIO's until my daughter was around 15 months and then I was looking for something a little larger with snaps (she was great at opening the velcro!). I have noticed, although it is not advertised, that the flip and econo covers seem larger, longer (my daughter is very tall). That has been nice. The snaps are also wonderful. I have had very few leak problems with all of these. I prefer the flip with the econo inserts. The flip covers are a little nicer than the econos but there is a year warrantly on all if there is a problem. And from my experience cotton babies always honors their warranties, they are quick to fix any problems experienced, which for me have been few. Thank you for these wonderful products, they are a true blessing!!

Christina Rating: 5 | I absolutely love Flip diapers. We typically use BG's, but wanted a few extra diapers on hand. So to save a little money we thought we would try the flip day pack. I am so glad we did. We have not had any issues with them at all. To be honest I was a little hesitant to use them at night so we were only using them as a day diaper. Well, I ran out of diapers one night and had to use the flip as our night time diaper. I doubled the liner...like I always do with the BG's. He woke with without any leaks...a 13 hour night! I would highly recommend these to anyone.
Melissa Rating: 5 | me and my husband love these diapers, i ordered these, econobum, and the organic one size fits all with snaps, they messed up and didnt' ship the right diaper for the organic with snaps, so i started with the flip and econobum, I love the flip, the econobum are good as well, but the flip covers are better, i just wish they came in more colors. i do like the econobum inserts, we use the econobum, and flip covers and inserts interchangably. i can't believe i was able to get everything i need for cloth diapering for under $250, i was planning on buying only the bumgenius snap one size fits all which would have cost me much more.
Nicole Rating: 5 | I LOVE the Flip system. We started w/the econobum and tri-fold diapers. Liked the snap closure. For Christmas we asked for the Flip system, have been using them since November and LOVE them. Our daughter is 5 months and we have struggled w/a diaper rash since she was 12 days old. Within 5 days of using the Flip system full time her rash went away. One day in disposables and she completely breaks out. She is also a serious pooper. She would leak in most disposables and we would go through 2-3 outfits a day. We have very few leaks w/ the Flip system. I highly recommend!
Jessica Rating: 5 | We LOVE these diapers! We used BumGenius 3.0 with our first son and loved them. The only complaint with those were the velcro started to wear by the first few months of use with our second son. So rather than buy more of those, we looked for diapers with snap closures. We tried FuzziBunz and liked them, but they leaked and the leg gussets were not wide enough, and were more expensive, especially since we did not use the one-size. So I saw these on the website, and decided to try them. We love the Flip System! Less laundry, no stuffing, AND a disposable option! Nice to have them around for while waiting for laundry to finish, or when traveling. I am so happy with them, that I will not buy any other diapers, only the Flip system. We also bought an organic one, which is very absorbent, and the disposable inserts work very well. My son is 4 months, but a very heavy wetter, and no messes so far!
Jill Rating: 5 | Amazing cover! We actually haven't even tried the inserts, but with our flats, these are the trimmest, most bullet-proof cover there is. We even started using them at night recently. I'm constantly impressed with these, and can not wait for more colors to join my stash!
Jessica Rating: 5 | I have been using the Flips for a month now and I love them. We have had no leaks at all! Two times poo has gotten on the liner. I used Kissaluvs before these which I thought I liked until I got the Flips. With the Kissaluvs we had leaks everyother day and we had to change it every hour. I never used clothe diapers when going out but now I can with the Flips because I know they will not leak all over the place and they are thin enough to fit in my bag. I also love the price. Overall best clothe diaper and the best price.
Nancy Rating: 5 | I am in love. I can't wait to order more. You can use the included stay dry insert or we also use flats as inserts. These even hold runny poo and if any does leak off the insert, it is the easiest cover I have ever had to actually simply wipe clean with no stains or smells. This cover lasts for long car rides. It is a work horse! My son is a super heavy wetter and you'd never know with these. I can not wait to get more!
Mary Rating: 5 | I have been using the Flip covers on my newborn baby over the BG bamboo fitteds. These are my FAVORITE covers now! They are trim enough to fit my newborn well without the bulk of most newborn diaper covers. The combination of these covers and the BG bamboo fitted diapers is AMAZING!
Vanda Rating: 5 | Love the cover, one of our favorites to use over fitteds or snappi'd prefolds!
Aimee Rating: 5 | These are great! While we have some of the organic and some of the microfiber inserts, we usually just put a trifolded Chinese prefold in these and use the inserts in the BGs. They fit my son well, and they seem comfortable. We've had no leaks. We were using prefolds & Thirsties covers before these, and while I loved the Thirsties, the leg gussets seemed to get so stained. These are much easier to clean, and they dry fast, too. Excellent product.
Makiko Rating: 5 | I really like this Stay Dry insert. It is very absorbent, and my son can even use it overnight. Also, I started to pack these in my diaper bags because they are so trim that it is easier to carry around than Bum Genius or any pocket diapers or any prefolds. First, I was carrying bum Genius, but actually they can be bit bulky to carry multiple in the bags. I just carry one extra diaper cover and several of these inserts and I am good to go with not too big diaper bag.
Sherri Rating: 5 | LOVE the Flip system & covers!
Even though I recently had the elastic on the back of my Flip diaper cover to "pop" (rendereding it loose,) the company has offered to replace it & I'm hoping that this was just a fluke.
I also wanted to add that you SHOULD NOT use the BumGenius microfiber inserts with this cover... and I believe Cottonbabies should put this in bold print on the site... MICROFIBER SHOULD NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH BABY'S SKIN!!!!!! It can leave a nasty "burn" on them where it sucks the moisture out of their skin..... The Flip inserts are only microfiber on the side that faces AWAY from baby.
Amanda Rating: 5 | I love them. My son is 11 months old and 19 pounds and I am still at the smallest setting. I use them with regular cotton trifolded prefolds which, very trim to me, but I have only ever used fitteds before this. Definitly buying more.
I wish there were more colors!
Cari Rating: 5 | I love this insert and so do my boys!!! Very simple to use, easy to wash and quick to dry. I started CD'ing by using prefolds and fleece liners in a Thirsties Duo cover. My twin boys have especially sensitive skin, so just the slightest amount of time with wet cloth next to their skin left them with a red bum. I have since replaced my whole stash of prefolds with these. They fit great in the covers that I already had. No more red bums or rashes!! No more prefold, doubler and fleece liner at every change!! Less laundry! No leaks!! One insert for around the house, two inserts for running errands or at night. Easy-peasy. If you'er on the fence about using cloth diapers, give this insert a try!
Melissa Rating: 5 | To "nicole" below: the smooth side of the insert is not the bottom. It should go next to your baby's skin, thus making it "stay-dry." Of course it will slide around if the suedecloth is next to the slick inside of this cover. Putting the textured microfiber next to your baby's skin is very irritating as well!
Melissa Rating: 5 | Fantastic product! I use Dawn dish soap for every wash (just a few drops--I have an HE machine and soft water) and it works great! No microfiber stink at all! I don't use any other detergent, just the Dawn, because other products leave my diapers smelly or give my two babies burn rash, even after 12 rinses!
Melissa Rating: 5 | Love these! I bought them to take some stress off my stash of BG OS diaps that are on their second baby. These are so trim, so soft, and so easy. I like that they don't have the extra liner like the Gdiapers, and the snaps work great for us. I'll have to buy more if they come out with other colors: I vote for black and dark chocolate.
Makiko Rating: 5 | I absolutely love this product, especially the cover. I was afraid to use snaps and most of diapers I own are aplix. But after I used this product, this is the first cover that I reach over other diaper covers such as Thirsties. I realized that snaps are not hard at all to use and actually snaps are better since my son cannot undo it, or don't have to worry about it for wash. It keeps everything inside and my son seems very comfortable in it. I like the fact that front snaps comes in two row, this make the cover really secure, compared to just one row. I feel like it take little bit longer to dry than Thirstie's covers, but since they are snaps, it should last longer. When my inserts run out, I just use my organic prefolds that I bought from green mountain diapers. Inserts are fine as well. It does it job fine. I am also interested in disposable, which I would like to try next.
April Rating: 5 | We resorted to using disposables at night with our 15 month old heavy wetter. She leaked in EVERYTHING and I couldn't stand the smell of pee soaked bamboo in the morning. She can sleep all night in these inserts and she is dry in the morning. We can finally use cloth again at night!
Tanya Rating: 5 | I can not say enough about these diapers...they are fantastic. We have yet to have a leak in them (with the exception of my DH putting her to bed without changing her first ;-)...We use this diaper with the inserts during the day. We have also used prefiolds with it, but prefer the inserts. These are nice and stretchy and thin. The snaps give a great fit for my 3 month old and my 17 month old. No leaks at all! These diapers are the least bulky option I have used. These are my sole diaper for day time and sometimes night. I have fuzzi bunz for night and a bum genius 3.0. I would not buy another Bum Genius with the velcro as the fit is not nearly as good as these or the fuzzi bunz one size. Still my Fuzzi bunz have leaked and are bulkier and these are not. Only 3 things I would change about the Flip...1- the back flap should be as big as the front to hold the insert in place while putting on. 2- more color choices (frustrating if more come now as I just bought all my diapers). 3-these are air dry only...they do air dry quickly, but any busy mom would prefer the option to dry in the dryer. Oh and make sure the smooth side is up, I use 2 inserts for nap time and the smooth side up keeps your baby dry against their skin.
I would say with 2 babies i use 7 covers per day and more inserts of course.

Cari Rating: 5 | I have been using the Flip system on my 16 month old son for the last few weeks. I love it!
My son is pretty small for his age and these fit great with lots of room to grow. The inserts hold a LOT and stay dry, which is nice.
My favorite thing is that these are very trim. They fit like a disposable. Now...I could see how on a smaller baby these would be rather bulky, but I'm planning on using Stay Dry Doublers instead of the included inserts for my baby due in Feb. That should take care of the bulk, I hope.
I do wish the organic version was a bit cheaper or that some other cloth option were offered. As nice as the microfiber is, I'd love a natural version, even if it weren't organic.
The only other thing I'd like to see is the inserts being snap in. Although it does work as is, I don't like the insert shifting so much-especially before its actually on the baby. Even a single snap in the back would be helpful. My son does NOT like to sit still while I make sure the inserts hasn't moved out of place while putting it on him.
Beyond that, I love it! I'd just like to see all the colors available! I promise I'd be making a rather large order if that happened, lol.

Joielle Rating: 5 | I was skeptical at first because I read some bad reviews RIGHT after I ordered these...but I have been PLEASANTLY surprised. My son is 25 months, 30lbs, and a heavy wetter... and he still has not managed to leak out of one of these. And They are SO TRIM, that I have caught myself checking to make sure i did not forget to diaper him, because it feels like his bum is bare, under his pants... even trimmer than a disposable in my opinion, and without the chemicals that so easily give him a rash. ALSO I want to add, that these are an AWESOME option for if you need to use diaper rash cream... because you just toss it in the trash... and the cover wipes clean. I have found that they bunch up if I leave it on the larger rise setting, because it is SO trim there is room for it to move around...but if you shorten the rise....it fits snugly, and no more bunching :)

Veronica Rating: 5 | After not having much luck with gDiapers, we were looking for an alternative and came across these. I LOVE this diaper cover. The small gRefills we already had fit ok, but I think the med/large will fit better. I have also used a cotton prefold and we have only had it leak once. (My son had a blow out, but I don't think anything would have been able to contain it. I also think the problem was the prefold not absorbing enough, not the Flip.) We have since ordered 2 more and plan on ordering as many as possible. I am on a limited income, so a little at a time is the most I can do. DH was a little intimidated at first, but now this is the first thing he reaches for. Well done!
Amy Rating: 5 | This is in response to "Sherri". I find the Thirsties Duo covers to be slightly more trim fitting than the Flip covers. For this reason, I prefer to use the Flip Stay Dry Insert with the Thirsties Duo covers, and prefolds (with snappi) in the Flip One-size covers. I am a little backwards. :)
Christy Rating: 5 | I really love the Flip diapers. They fit well, are very absorbent and easy to change. I also love that they do not take up as much room in my diaper bag as other cloth diapers. The only thing I do not love is the snap closure. It can be difficult with a wiggly baby, however I am getting faster with them and I know they will be more durable in the long run!
Carolyn Rating: 5 | RESPONSE to one star feedback:
Mama, There is no way the dye from one cover would transfer enough dye to your load of navy towels to discolor the dryer.
Candice Rating: 5 | These are amazing. I started CDing about a month ago and got a variety of diapers to try out. These are my favorite so far. My husband finds them very usable and they wash up very nicely. The covers are incredibly trim and fit both my 9 month old and 2 year old well. I started out just ordering one to try it, and have already ordered a day pack and anothere single pack. Definately reccomend this to anyone who is new to cloth diapering and is nervous about folding or sutffing.
April Rating: 5 | I really like these! The price is right and they are very soft. They are a little narrow and do bunch up like some mentioned but I'd still buy these over the gdiaper inserts any day!
Heather Rating: 5 | I have been using these for little over a month now and I love them. I'm new to cloth diapering as I have used disposables with my son for the first 17 months. I have had only one leak and that was because the first time I used them I only had 1 stay dry insert and my son is a heavy wetter. He is also sometimes poos multiple times in one day and I have never had a problem with leaks on that as well. I also ordered some of the disposables inserts. I'm not a big fan of these as I feel that they would not work for my son cause he is such a heavy wetter and his poo can sometimes be very messing inside of the diaper. I feel they are way too thin and that they don't cover enough of the diaper cover to give good coverage. But overall the cloth diaper aspect I am very happy with and even ordered another pack recently to up my stock.

Erin Rating: 5 | AWESOME FOR HEAVY WETTERS!
I have a 16 month old son who was hard to diaper at night - he needed two premium PFs and a doubler at night, along with a microfleece liner, just to stay dry and not wake up red. Two of these inserts work to keep him dry and keep the moisture away from his skin! No more bowling-ball-butt for my baby! YAY! **I DO NOT LIKE THIS INSERT USED WITH THE FLIP COVER - I feel like they aren't wide enough for the cover! They bunch and shift, no matter if I put it on the medium OR the large setting for the cover (my son is 30 lbs and 31.5 inches tall, average build). But when I use these with my Thirsties Duo it works PERFECTLY. I can't use them in my Thirsties size large because the large cover is TOO big still on my son for inserts or trifolded PFs - but the Duo is trim enough to hold this insert just wonderfully! I highly recommend this insert as a night time solution for heavy wetters!
Casie Rating: 5 | I liked this diaper. I have been using the 3.0's, but wanted to try this because it is said to be trimmer- also the velcro on my 3.0's is nearly nonexistent. I like the snaps on this diaper. It is a good quality material, strong but flexible. I have fewer leaks with this than the 3.0, and it is trimmer. But if I had to choose only one it would be the 3.0. This is a good diaper, it does what it says; but it is a little hard to get a struggling baby into this diaper without dislocating the insert. Also, I don't know how clean the cover actually is to use multiple times, but that's my personality. I used both the disposable and the cloth inserts, which both are good. I feel the disposable is more of a temporary situation, it kind of bunches up between her legs after it gets wet, and rolls around in the diaper. I had no color bleeding problems with the green cover I bought, I washed it with my 3.0 covers and had no color transfer.
Annabelle Rating: 5 | I just wanted to respond to the previous review. You can still hand wash the flip covers in hot water 6 times if you only buy one of them and dont want to waste time in the washer. I think you actually have to wash them and have them dry before washing again for a total of 6 times. Even though I bought the day pack I still hand washed in warm/hot water and dried 6 times each and it didn't bleed after that in the washer. Also, if you read the instructions, it says to LINE DRY the covers not dry them in the dryer. The covers actually dry for just a couple of hours (I let them dry overnight). It is the inserts that you put in the dryer.
Hilary Rating: 5 | Haven't had a BM yet, so I can't say how well they hold up to that but they do a great job absorbing wetness. They are a little narrow but they fit into the pocket just fine. If your child is allergic to regular disposables I would highly suggest trying these out. Our daughter can't wear regular disposables without getting horrible rashes that diaper creams will not clear up. She has no problems at all with the flip disposable.
Julia Rating: 5 | After using these diapers for month, we love them as much as our BG OS Organic All-in-ones and I didn't think that was possible. The snaps are the same and great! Some pros for these over the All-in-ones are that they are definitely much cheaper!! They are also bigger, and since my son is 13 months, 26#, that will be a plus in the months to come. We have always preferred cotton over microfiber as we feel it washes out much cleaner and easier - no odor yet. A negative of these compared to our cotton BG All-in-ones is that the Flip are not as trim as the All-in-ones. We use the All-in-ones for the days when we want to wear the jeans that need a trim diaper. However, the Flip are still somewhat trim by Cloth diaper standards. The cotton in the Flip absorb very well. We change our baby every 3-3.5 hours with no leaks. He could go longer at times but I am hesitant to risk a leak as he hates to be changed. When out for shopping/eating or long car rides, we fold a Hemp Babies doubler inside the cotton insert and can go 5 hours. These covers have held in major messes too! I am very impressed! The Flip cotton remains luxuriously soft even after 10-15 washes and washes clean very easily (one hot wash with a second cold rinse). I am very pleased about that. Overall, we LOVE this system as it has completed our CD stash with our favorite material for cloth diapering -organic cotton.
Nichol Rating: 5 | I purchased this day pack with organic inserts and LOVE THEM. The organic inserts are so absorbant and wick moisture away from baby almost as if it is magic. I will suggest this day pack to anyone with intentions of cloth diapering! These are awesome and so easy to use even Grandma had no trouble at all!
Kari Rating: 5 | So far so good! One-Size, SNAP, reusable cover, trim fit, stay-dry liner, nicely priced, what's not to love? I'm going to try this laundry solution, and I think I can get by with less frequent diaper laundry. I think the covers can be washed with any white clothes, so that I can only wash the liners alone maybe once a week if I accumulate enough of them. This way with 40 liners and even just 4 covers I think I can get by washing the liners just once a week on my washing machine's sanitize cycle, and just wash the covers whenever they get dirty with my regular laundry.

Shelly Rating: 5 | I adore these diapers. We had been using various pocket diapers as well as prefolds and the occasional disposable. These are the ONLY ones that will keep my 3 1/2 month old (15lbs) dry all night, or any time of day. Our Happy Heinies and Hugga Bunz will leave him wet. The inserts hold an amazing amount of liquid. He does tend to get the covers icky sometimes when he poos but it usually will wipe clean. I am so excited about the current sale as I was planning on replacing ALL my other diapers with these. The only other thing I could say is to PLEASE have more color choice in the day pack. Really, just pink and blue is so limiting, I would adore GREEN, SAGE, YELLOW, WHITE, CHOCOLATE, anything neutral.

Tara Rating: 5 | These are great! The fit is really good on my skinny 15 pound baby, and the inserts seem to hold a lot. Love the snaps, and expect that these will be very durable. Also, love the bit of PUL on the inside front to protect against leaks -- very important for a baby boy! I do not think these would work on a newborn. I have experienced one minor drawback: as I only have one day-pack, I can not get use all the inserts w/o washing the covers if my LO poops in both covers.
Danelle Rating: 5 | I think these are great covers for pre-folds. They are easy to use, look and fit much better than vinyl pants. The snaps are very easy to use, and adjust to fit well even on my one month old. I also like that it will adjust to my baby as he grows. Great product! My only suggestion is more colors!!!
Jessica Rating: 5 | I have to say we just got this cover today, but I think it is going to be a real winner. I love the bumgenius organic aios, and I thought these would be good for my flats and fitteds. I love them so far. They fit perfectly over our flat diapers, and over an organic kissaluvs size 2 they are just a tad snug. I would imagine these would be great covers with prefolds as well. I have discovered that hook and loop and I don't mix. I love snaps and it can be hard to find a good snap cover much less one that is one size.
Annabelle Rating: 5 | I purchased this for our first due in January. A friend of mine was so gracious to let me try it on her 30 month old son. I am brand new to cloth diapering so silly me forgot to double up on inserts for bedtime. The next day the insert was drenched with both pee and even diarrhea like poop! But..none of it leaked out and his clothes were still dry and he is a very active toddler! That was just with ONE stay dry insert in the flip diaper! I also bought 1 bumgenius 3.0 and didn't realize I would have to put the insert in a pouch like pocket so I couldn't reuse the cover after one use. I especially like that I can reuse the flip covers and just replace the inserts. I'm definitely buying more!
Shannon Rating: 5 | I love these. They are sooo soft and wonderful on my 20 month old. He has NEVER leaked and they fit nicely under his clothes. Thank you for bringing these to our babies!

Charlyn Rating: 5 | I've been a BumGenius user, and was so disappointed in the longevity of the velcro, but the flip system looks and feels great! It fits my 2 1/2 year old on it's largest setting and I can use my BumGenius liners in them. Flips have a much nicer feel than the Econobum, which I also purchased. You could interchange the inserts easily but the flips have a higher quality feel. My experience laundering cotton has been better than with the microfiber inserts, so I'm thrilled they offer that option. Excited to try these on my newborn in January!

Jennifer Rating: 5 | I love the Flip covers! They work awesome and you can use the Bum Genius inserts with them! I think they will last forever because of the snap system! I love to use the covers during the day and just keep changing the inserts. Then at night, I love to use Bum Genius cause it holds for 12 hrs even with my almost 3 yr old. she is potty trained during the day, but not at night yet. I switched to cloth diapers 2 months ago and I am sooooo happy with Bum Genius and Flip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is worth the investment! I wish I would have known about these products years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilary Rating: 5 | Just got mine today, the real reason I ordered these is I need something that I can use that is disposable for family vacations. We do BumGenius for a regular diaper so I thought I would get one flip and try the disposable inserts and see if they work ok. So far I am VERY impressed. My daughter has never been able to wear disposable diaper without getting a horrible rash. So far no rash. And the regular insert was easy to use as well. The only complaint I have is that they don't have a large pack with a neutral cover. We got a single in the green, but I really wish their was a way to order the bigger pack in green or yellow. We aren't done having kids so I hate commenting to a girl or boy color when my baby is already 13 months.

Bridgett Rating: 5 | if you want to see the flip in acting its on youtube. Diaper Daisy reviews them. You can see how they are stuffed with the cloth insert and disposable. Very good video!
Bridgett Rating: 5 | very good product!! I was a bit worried about it since its new and not a lot of good pictures/description of the diaper. But, they are GREAT! I'm a gdiaper user for 6 months but not a fan of the velcros so I tried these for the snap option. My son is 12 months, 22lbs and a very heavy wetter. First, we have not had a leak!! The inserts are VERY absorbent!! I also use my cb indian/chinese prefolds and they fit perfectly!! These diapers look super comfortable, lots of give and very soft! Very good diaper well worth the price. I bought 2 and have been using them for a week now and plan on buying more.

Melissa Rating: 5 | Love it! Covers can be reused so there is substatially less laundry...a must if you have an HE machine. I prefer stay-dry over cotton. Cotton makes my babies' skin smell. Poopy diapers are sometimes contained on the insert and I can reuse the Flip covers even then. I've even reused the same cover through all 15 of our inserts. Love the snaps and the sizing. I'd use cotton babies staydry doublers (found on the "diaper accessories" page) in these if I had a newborn. Those are the same size are the newborn inserts that come with bg 3.0's but have a fleece topper like the Flip inserts.
I previously tried Gro Baby's but sold them after a few weeks. The dense cotton inserts were too smelly and way too expensive. The mesh lining would stink after only one wet diaper too.
Forget fancy detergents, washing methods, etc. I've tried them all and resulted in either stinky diapers (with Allen's) or burn rash (Charlies and Country Save). I don't add bac-out, vinegar, baking soda, or bleach. The easiest way to clean your diapers is use a small amount (teaspoon for HE) of liquid dish soap for every wash. That's it! They come out clean and fresh, don't even need to run a second set of rinses (my machine has 4 rinses after every wash but with the previously mentioned detergents I had to run the machine at least 2 more times--8 more rinses--to get them clean!).

Andrea Rating: 5 | I purchased both a Flip and Econobum individual pack to compare and see which would really be the better choice, since they are both a good choice financially. I left my comments under the Econobum also about that specific diaper but from first impressions the Flip system is a much better choice. I started my CDing with the bumGenius 3.0's so I am pretty partial to those. The Flips seem to be made from the same materials just in a different configuration, and with snaps instead of velcro. The insert is great too! With the stay dry fabric on the topside and the same fabric as a BG 3.0 insert on the bottomside. I plan to supplement my 3.0's with the Flips diapers. I would recommend them to anybody wanting something similar to the BGs but not wanting to pay the price. The only thing I wish they would do is produce a white, or even some lighter colored covers!

Sherri Rating: 5 | Question... For those of you who've tried these inserts... Do you think they would work well in other diaper covers???
I'm currently using prefolds & dappi's but LOVE the idea of something SUPER-absorbent for going out... but I have plenty of covers.
Opinions???

Melissa Rating: 5 | I've never used gDiapers or Gro Baby's disposables inserts, so I can't compare the quality of these against the other disposable inserts, but they work fine and are substantially cheaper. Flip inserts are 27 cents a piece, whereas gDiapers and Gro Baby's are both 40 cents each. I normally use disposable diapers, which are about 17 cents each so Flip are much more comparable in price. My daughter has worn these inserts for 5 hours at a time with no leaks.
Kristen Rating: 5 | LOVE these! They are much better then the other hybrid diapers I've tried. The cover is a perfect fit and what I really like about it is the contour flaps on the inside of the cover that holds the insert in place. My daughters diapers always seem to get bunched up during the day but not with these! I will be back to buy more!
Laura Rating: 5 | I recieved my flip last week and we have used it a few times a day since we got it. I LOVE it! The fit is just amazing! trim, snug enough to use it over a trifolded prefold, but doesn't leave red marks at all! I really like the staydry insert. It is super trim on it's own and doesn't shift around. With the insert it wears exactly like an unstuffable pocket, but with snaps! We used the flip as our night diaper last night with the staydry insert on top of regular CB's microfiber insert and it was great! Held everything in and the cover wasn't wet AT ALL. I was able to just pop a PF in this morning and we are still in the flip 2 hours later! TY CB's for another great product!
Selena Rating: 5 | LOVE IT!!! I got mine in the mail and couldn't wait to prep so I put it on my daughter right out of the box with the Flip cover. SHE FELL ASLEEP and slept for over two hours. Total she wore it for about 3 1/2 hours and it wan't completely saturated. I am SOLD on this system.
Selena Rating: 5 | I LOVE the Flip Disposable Inserts. I got them on Halloween and was so excited to try them out that I put 2 disposable inserts in the Flip cover and put it on my 10 month old heavy wetter and off we went. 4-5 hours later we came home and I realized that she would have been fine for that long with just one insert. SO, I put her in 2 more and put her to bed for the night. SUCCESS!!! They were not even soaked by morning. I really think we could go all night with just one insert. I've also used the g disposable inserts and the Flip is hands down better. This will be our go to disposable system from here on out.
Rebecca Rating: 5 | so far very impressed :) i recieved my flip system a few days ago and am new to cloth diapering. i have an almost 3 year old and a baby on the way :) so far my 3 year old has done great with these diapers, she only wears them at night and nap time but it hold up great. since i have a baby on the way i had one of my friends with a 2 month old try them for me and so far he hasnt leaked through either. she said he peed and pood a whole bunch and no leaks :) if things change i will let u know :)
Kasey Rating: 5 | I normally use gDiapers Little g pants, but they get soggy because the cover is only cotton, not PUL fabric. i do like the Flip, I fits really well and does not leak often. I don't love the insert it comes with (the few times I've used it we've had leaks) but i do really like the cover when used with other inserts I have. My main complaint is that I do not like the snaps - I much prefer velcro to fasten - and the color selection is not so great if you're shooting for gender neutral diapers. I hope they add other options once the product has been on the market for awhile. I think the Flip system is a good value overall.
Nicole Rating: 5 | Forgot to mention they are super thin! I was able to get pants on my daughter that are actually her age appropriate size. Love them!
Nicole Rating: 5 | I just got my Flip cover and insert in the mail and have used it for a day. I really like it alot. It is such a soft material and really stretchy, but not too much. I thought at first it wouldn't hold my daughters poopies because the legs don't look like they are very snug, but sure enough it held in a pretty good explosion. I like the insert as well. No uncomfortable snaps when you have to fold it over. It's so soft and just big enough. I'm ordering more of those for sure. But it also fits my BG inserts with a felt liner, my G diapers inserts and a folded up prefold. These are great covers.
Diana Rating: 5 | So, now that I have it, a review! If you are looking for a Bumgenius diaper cover, here it is. For those of us who just never seem to get past the love of prefolds and still love our Bumgenius diapers this product is made to please. It is finished with the snaps like the OS organic 3.0 that I love, and the rest is finished like the OS 3.0 pockets, but instead of messing with pockets and having a dozen outsides you use inserts and have only a few outsides. The flap helps to hold the insert (or prefold) in place. I want to say that it looks that my prefolds will work perfectly in here, and the inserts that I already have for my pockets, so this is a great product to add on to existing systems. Will it last through multiple children? I doubt it. While certainly more durable than the Econobum, this system still has a very thin outer skin which is likely to wear out after a while, but if you only need 4 or 5 total a child to go from 7-35lbs then I think that it is alright to wear out after one child.
Sarah Rating: 5 | I've never written a review for this site before, but when i recieved this product i had to tell others. It's great! i've been using gDiapers and just recently started having issues with rash around my little guys legs because he's more mobile. The gDiapers would:
-Leak overnight even doubled up
-leave a rash on his legs
-leave a small mark from the snap
-had to wash every piece seperate because of care instructions
-make his cloths feel damp after one wet
I have absolutley no problems with this Flip system! From now on I'll be using my gDiapers as backups. In case anyone was wondering...the gDiaper inserts work just fine in the flip diaper.
Krista Rating: 5 | oh, just to clarify a previous poster, these are made of the exact same pul material as the bg. there just isn't a pocket covering the inside of the pul. so yes, it is much thinner. but for those of you who have done prefolds and covers, it's exactly what you would expect.
Krista Rating: 5 | don't knock this until you try them! they are great. we had to ditch the bg because the little one and aplix don't get along. we only use snap dipes now. we have the g system, and while i like it, i like this a LOT better. the insert is just as good, the shell is better. the fit is fantastic. i have a 35 inch, 29 pound 19 month old and the dipe fits him great. i agree, very trim. holds well. this will be our main system when we have our next one!
Amanda Rating: 5 | I ordered one Flip with an extra insert just to try it out, and while I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to buy more, I'm definitely a fan so far. The fit is great and extremely trim, and I like that the insert has stay-dry material on one side. To me, the Flip is just like a glorified pre-fold and cover. I might still prefer my BG OS in the end, but the Flip is pretty fab.
Summer Rating: 5 | BTW, the organic cotton prefolds measure 12.5 X 16
Summer Rating: 5 | i just got my flip system last night, so note i have not yet used them!
i had a hard time understanding the differences between the econobum and the flip system, until i called and spoke with the customer service reps. do it, its worth your time! the lady i spoke with said the feel and quality of the flip system was greater than the econobum- makes sense. and i knew if i felt the diapers and didnt like the feel of the quality i would not be satisfied, even if they worked flawlessly. so i picked the flip system.
FABRIC/ CARE
i was not disappointed! the cover seems a bit softer than both the prowrap classic and the thirsties covers. the elastic seems pretty stretchy and comfortable.
i selected the organic cotton insert because of the difference in laundering care with the Stay Dry Inserts. the organic cotton is a rectangular prefold, which is sewn into a somewhat quilted looking pattern when opened up. (i'm guessing this will make it fool proof to fold evenly). it seems to be double or triple thickness of fabric. the fabric is luxurious. nice smooth seams. the tag says "wash hot, dry warm" so will be easy to launder with my other prefolds. i wanted an easy washing system... i'm just starting out and am hesitant to sign up for "wash cold, wash hot, extra rinse, and put in the dryer forever" systems. the tag on the prefold is silky and i wont need to cut it off.
i did order one "Stay dry insert" just so i could see the difference for myself. glad i did and it certainly made me happier with my purchase. the insert is a very nice quality, and seems to have only one side that is safe against the infants skin. its the "cold, hot, extra rinse" type. even though both fabrics are very high quality, just by feel, i like the organic cotton prefolds better and i am happy with my choice.
FIT/ SIZING
when adjusted to the smallest size, (which is how i will first be using it) it appears a good inch taller than the newborn sized prowrap classic cover, but looks like the bottom/ leg fit will actually be about the same. visually, i am very satisfied with the ability to use the snaps and "shrink" the diaper to fit a newborn, esp considering the advertisement says its good up to 35lbs when using the other snap settings.
i really like the snaps too!
i will be interested in seeing how these performs against other "regular" prefolds. i am guessing i will be buying more of these flip diapers if their function is as good as their presentation!
Amanda Rating: 5 | This is in response to flushable or not... These disposables one are for the trash only.. You can't flush them because they are made for absorbency on the go... you won't use anything but that so its to thick for the toilet.. trash can only

Mary Rating: 5 | We recieved ours yesterday and tried them on. Great fit and VERY TRIM on our long and lean guy. We couldn't have asked for a more economical and still beautiful diaper. The way the flaps are built make the insert stay in snug and the insert holds A LOT (you can tell after you prewash them). We value only having to have 2 plastic covers. It makes me feel a little guilty about all our AIO'S. The FLIP system will benefit many a family as well as the environment. What a great product! Wish these had been out when we started diapering.
Diana Rating: 5 | I am super excited for theses diapers! They seem like the best of all worlds- Snaps. One size. Disposable option. Reusable cover. Works with the inserts that we already have. Has a cotton option (which will be great for potty training as well as babies who need cotton!) I picked the organic cotton option for my trial first one because I already have a bunch of microfiber inserts from my other BGs. Also, I picked Ribbit since I'm fairly certain that I'll be picking up a day pack later and it is the one which doesn't come in a pack. That said, I can't believe the prices on this product and how many other products it will replace in my shelves if it works like I hope it will...
Heather Rating: 5 | I just cannot wait to get these! It seems like the perfect diapering system - I ordered two of the packages, which is such a great deal when you compare it to the regular BG - especially because those you have to wash after one use!
I am brand new to cloth diapering and after doing extensive research on the best items to get I have found that this is the BEST deal and the BEST idea. Grobaby does the same thing but it's much more expensive and bumGenius has much better reviews than Grobaby.
Sarah Rating: 5 | I am so excited about these! We have 3 BG 3.0's and have tried other cheaper brands that never compared. I could not afford to purchase a big package of them so, to have something like this offered is absolutely amazing. My son suffers from severe allergies and is practically head-to-toe eczema. BG's are super soft, excellent fit, and are made of the highest quality!
Jana Rating: 5 | I'm hoping they'll come out with more colors too. I'd like them in yellow or green so they'd be more gender nuetral. How do people who don't know what they're having decide which color to get?
Mykal Rating: 5 | I would really like if these are available with aplix closure? My DH will not do snaps
Kimberly Rating: 5 | Does anyone know if they are going to be coming out with more colors??
Naomi Rating: 5 | can you use the bum 3.0 one size liners in this also??
SO EXCITED thanks
Leah Rating: 5 | I'm curious about the organic insert for this. What are the approximate measurements and how does it compare to infant or premium prefolds? What about absorbancy? Most prefolds are designated by the layers such as 4 x 6 x 4 or 4 x 8 x 4. More information when possible please.
Amber Rating: 5 | I'm excited to try these out! I just ordered a day pack and an extra individual pack. I'm hoping these will appease the YMCA, since they require "disposable" diapers---maybe the disposable liners will work well.
If these are as good as they look, I will wish I'd had these all along!
Andrea Rating: 5 | I cannot wait for these to come out! After much online research, I truly believe these will be the best diapers ever made. I base this off of price and quality. Everyone knows bumgenius makes great products.
Leah Rating: 5 | I really wish I was able to get the package in green so I can share these diapers with my son & daughter when she is born!
Kasaundra Rating: 5 | Pictures of the real thing would be wonderful!!! Right now I am lovin Gdiapers because of the easy system just replace the liner. but I LOVE my BGs and would love this to work for us!!!
Catherine Rating: 5 | I have the same question as Amanda! Please give us more details and better pictures Cotton Babies.
Amanda Rating: 5 | Okay, here's my question:
Ive tried so many cloth diapers, to end up where we started, loving Bum Genius os. No other diaper absorbed so much, and didnt leak. The not-leaking is crucial.
I attribute that to the cover design. Are these new diapers from Cotton Babies made with the same cover design, leg elastic, etc? Then Im sold! Because with a second baby on the way, I want some diapers that I dont have to stuff in the rotation, that actually work. So the Econobum or the new Flip sound like good options.
